Blow Portable Air Conditioners

It does what it is supposed to do: blow air...

I often record in my apartment or at the studio where I work - there is a ton of background noise like traffic, air conditioners, and creaky floors. The high pass filter for perfect for filtering those consistent background hums. Of course, a little fancy editing too. Arrived right in the delivery window, customer service from B&H is great as always.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a lifesaver especially during the summer when everyone is blasting their fans and air conditioners and risking outages. I’ve had my power go out multiple times in a span of a week and I had enough time to save everything I needed to. The size also helps as my small apartment is already pretty cramped.

I have been using Furman power conditioners for many years, mainly to provide a portable power strip with reasonably clean power. Providing adjustable light to rack components in often dim stage conditions is more than welcome too. I use the Furman with short ANSI power cables (12") to minimize the clutter in the backside of the rack. At 12" in depth, the backside of the Furman is short enough to clear the rear cover, yet long enough to reach without skinning my knuckles. Kudos! Furman. How about a 1-space Furman UPS?

This is best tool to blow out computers, and other items you used to us canned Air for... Never gets cold, never spays stuff on item by turning it too much... Tons of power.

I use this to clean my lens and camera body. It give the right amount of air to blow off dust.

Anyone who uses canned air should consider this product. It was a shock the first time I turned it on because it is so powerful. It works well for keyboards and computers. I also use it to blow dust out of the stereo and TV and places where it is difficult to dust. It is powerful enough to get dust off my telescope lenses and eyepieces with no problem. One limitation may be that it is too powerful for some applications such as inside DSLR cameras or anything delicate (using the wider attachments at a distance helps). Since it has only one speed, I wonder if some kind of variac could be put in-line to control air flow. As others have mentioned, it does not blow cold air or moist air which can cause harmful condensation or worse especially on lenses or telescope mirrors. Since it blows RT or warmer air (somewhat filtered), I also find it useful for drying. It came in handy when I accidentally dropped my cell phone in water. To parallel its power, it is also solidly made and comes with a usefully long power cord. I highly recommend it.

This got the dust off of my sensor, mirror and all my lenses with little effort and no problems. It seems to blow plenty of air to get the job done. I'm a minimalist when it comes to what I bring on a shoot and this fits well with my gear.

Works perfect, puts out a lot of strong air to blow away any particles from my camera sensor.

Has good air pressure to blow off dust/debris. Easily packs in camera bag.
