Had the standard blue LED logitech x-52 many years ago and loved that one. This time around I decided to try the pro version. It's got plenty of buttons for me, especially with the 3 different modes. It's very comfortable to use due to the shape and material of both the throttle and stick. There are suction cups for the bottoms to stick it to your desk that work pretty well, although I just hold the stick in my lap and throttle on my desk because that feels more natural. Impressed with this first time BH Photo purchase. They said it was back-ordered when I ordered, but I still got it within like 3 days when all other places were totally out of stock with it.

Originally I purchased the Blue Yeti Mic. The problem was that the Yeti was way to sensitive and would capture vibrations from my desk or the fans of my desktop. Thus, I decided to try the Rode Podcaster together with a popup filter, Rode Boom and Rode shockmount. What a difference: now I have no problems with background noise, a bit better quality of the recording, and since I am using the Rode Boom I have plenty of extra desk space in front of me. If you are an amateur podcaster with home studio this is probably the best mic for you.

Works well and doesn't take up a ton of desk space. The front blue light does blink while ots actively transferring and can get annoying so I just covered it with gaff tape.

Even though my Blue Yeti microphone comes with a deluxe, heavy black anodized aluminum stand, I like this one better. The Blue Yeti mic stand is tall, and the mic blocks too much of the view of my monitor. This stand, on the other hand, is the perfect height. The bottom of my microphone is barely 2 inches above the desk. It's amazingly simple to deploy, with three legs that feel like metal, maybe steel, I'm not sure. The little footpads grip the desk nicely. If you want to mount the mic directly to the 5/8 adapter like I did, you will need to purchase a right-angle mini USB adapter, because there's not enough clearance between the bottom of the mic and the stand for a conventional mini USB plug.

Looks great on the desk and packs a crazy amount of functionality into a tiny space. Perfect for a minimal desk without compromising. I have a nice Blue Yeti Mic and I tested the microphone quality on both and it's very close. The Blue Yeti mic has a better sound, but the noise cancelling and clear audio quality for video calls are hardly noticeable. Unless I'm recording a podcast, the Blue Yeti mic hardly gets used anymore. The sound quality of the speakers is great as well. The indicator lights are super convenient. I love that it lights up when my calls start and I can be on the call instantly with the push of a button without having to search for links and open apps. Pretty powerful little box! I don't have much desk space, so this is perfect!

Using the clamp desk mount. I'm very happy with how well this boom arm holds my Blue Yeti with the Radius II shock mount. Sturdy and quietly. Installed in minutes.

I had an older Blue Yeti which I used all of the time, but it would often pick up vibrations from my desk. Especially after I bought a new aluminum desk, I could hear the humming of my external harddrive as well. Thats why I decided to pick up a new Yeti with the compass arm and radius 3 shock mount. A very great deal for this package. If youre just getting started, this is a perfect rig for you.

I've been using two of these for about a year now for me and a co-host. While I only do a radio show for one hour a week, the arms stay attached to my desk 24/7; they easily move out of the way and back again without having to fiddle with spinney clamps or whatever. The desk clamp is very solid, and sneaks into the cord cut-out hole of my desk perfectly. Both arms now hold a Rode Podmic (which are heavier than the Shure SM7Bs, believe it or not), and the Triton Fetheads I've got sticking out of the back. Although the arm-tension is not adjustable, I've never had a problem, even when I mounted a Blue Yeti X with a Blue Radius III shockmount AND sE RF-X Reflexion Filter and pop filter to the thing. It stays where you put it and moves quietly when you want to adjust. The integrated XLR cable is a Monster cable which, while not exactly Mogami, isn't total crap either. The arm is quiet if you adjust it during use; whatever internal springs or tension wires are inside, they don't make themselves known. Because the unit is solidly mounted to the desk, and because the arm is itself fairly solid, vibrations will travel through to the mic if you knock on the desk it's mounted to. The Podmic's built-in shock mount is not quite up to the task when someone knocks on the desk. But you won't see any movement or bouncing when you're typing or moving a monitor around, for example. Personally I think this thing looks cool too. Its flat black goes with anything, and there aren't exposed springs or ulna-radius style dual-arms to trap little fingers (if you've got kids around). Overall, for less than $100 I think you'll be very happy with these arms.

Very pleased with this new Pro tablet. It takes up less space on my desk. The blue tooth works good. I like the additional pen sensitivity.
