I look at this thing on set and get misty eyed, it has made so many things possible that I couldn't do previously. It's so small but brings so much happiness.

I've used just about every sub-miniature mic out there and in this price range no other can touch it.

Does all it claims to do, perfect for those miniature paint jobs.

Great picture like on regular DSLR ( not fish-eyed frame) Battery,... hmm, batteries ... you need more when shooting more -)

I eyed this lens for quite a while before purchasing it. Photography is a hobby for me and I wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much on a lens. I finally pulled the trigger on the purchase and I'm so glad I did. I pair it with the Nikon D500 for wildlife photography. I love that I can carry this around and hand hold and get great shots without fatigue. It's light, it's sharp, it's on my camera all the time. I love it.

I will post again after field use, but given how little is online about this device I wanted to write something now. I had eyed the gimbal for a while based on its apparent marriage of quality construction and relative light weight. Yet, handling it in person revealed the GKJr. to be a true thing of beauty. It glides like a hot knife in butter and the tensioners are easy to set at any level of resistance. I put it on a Gitzo 2541 and mounted a Nikon D800 with a NIKKOR 200-400mm f/4--a fairly heavy payload. The combo felt solid and the head took all of a second to adjust so the camera/lens just hovered. Fluid movement with the touch of a finger and a return to the start position by letting go of the camera. Exactly how it is supposed to work. And again, the precision engineering is something you can sense in how refined the glide and movement is. More later, but for now I would say this is a gorgeous luxury item well suited for travel.

This eyecup makes photography much easier if one wears glasses. It locks solidly on the camera’s metal viewfinder frame and can be rotated to accommodate right-eyed and left-eyed photographers (like me). I wouldn’t use it when I’m not wearing glasses, but it is easy to change out for the stock viewfinder eyepiece.
