This thing is awesome! Does everything I need it to do. One thing to be aware of - it DOES come with a power supply, even though it's not listed in the What's In The Box list. 5 |

I didn't know what these were for when I bought it, I just bought what was on my class supply list. I think it was a little pricy, but it works great and I do like having different colored sides. 5 |

Filters give us what nature sometimes or cannot supply. The graduated Mauve filter enhances the color of blue skies and gives it a much richer shade of blue. This filter also provides some neutral density so that your clouds are more pronounced. I have used this filter several times now on partly cloudy days to dramatize the blue parts of the sky against the clouds. If you are getting into filters, this one is a good one to have. 5 |

My daughters bought the Hero8 for me (when the 8 was new to the market). I used it to experiment with Live Music Recordings. The sound and pictures recorded were and continue to be AWESOME! I have purchased the 9, 12, and MAX cams. ALL cameras record excellent sound and live video without any of the mods offered. The best mod has been the FLEX mod. These cameras are perfect for live concerts, drum cams, and guitar cams when attached to stocks. I use the chest mount hardware to record live drum shots. Everyone LOVES these shots specifically. But now I'm playing with the MAX, and AGAIN, the MAX records Incredible video and audio. The only problem is the batteries. I've lost 5-6 batteries due to the following problem: When plugged into a power source with the cameras powered on and recording, the older blue-top batteries swell so big that you have to use needle nose pliers to remove the battery, at which time the tops of the batteries separate from the batteries. This is with the 9, 12, and MAX plugged into a power supply (older blue-top batteries must be in the camera) so the camera records a full 2-hour set otherwise the batteries will go dead! I now only use the new enduro batteries and do not use an external power supply to record. All cameras are in GREAT condition, the blue-top battery swelling did NOT affect the functionality of the camera. It only destroyed my blue-top batteries! With the older Hero8, you do NOT need the battery in the camera to record while the camera is plugged into an external power supply! Go figure... Old things, just like many cars are built better. It would be nice for the 9, 12, and MAX to be able to be plugged in to an external power supply withOUT the batteries so recording could go longer than the batteries. 5 |

I looked around for a good microphone to have under $200 and I came across the Blue Yeti. Mainly going to be using it in the fall for school, but I have tested it already with recordings in audio, video, and calls from my computer. So far I have been pleased with the sound I get from the Blue Yeti, I think the cost is worth it for the things I've used it for and am going to use it for. 5 |

I just recently moved to the foot hills of Virginia and I am using my new camera to take pictures of the beautiful scenery and many birds here. I love it 5 |

I do a lot of hiking, with pretty much nothing but hills. These legs have been great at adjusting to the very fluid land changes that I have to deal with. They're very sturdy and extremely adjustable. A portion of the center column unscrews so that you can get the tripod even closer to the ground, which I've found useful on occaison. It also comes up to a nice height, I'm 6 feet and with a head on it, it comes right to eye level without extending the center column which is very convenient. The multiple levels have been amazing to me for taking landscape shots. Some may find it heavier than they would like for long hikes, but it doesn't botther me too much. My biggest con would be the bag that comes with it (very thin and doesn't stay positioned on my shoulder or back very well) but it's still a small complaint. 5 |
