Blue Microphones Bottle Rocket Stage 2 Review

This series of Sabrent Rocket M.2 2280's is excellent. They use very little power, so overheating isn't a problem. They're everything you could ask for, but now they're gone! Sabrent doesn't make them anymore, because technology has moved on. Luckily for me, I upgraded my two 2015 MBPr computers while these were still available. B&H had a few 4TB ones left in Feb 2024, at half the original retail price. Yay! 5 |

Thankfully there's not much to say about this. It's a bag that fully covers my Blue Baby Bottle mic & protects it from dust while it's attached to a mic stand. The drawstring is easy to use and the bag is nice & sturdy. Simplicity at its best. 5 |

Using this for a Blue Baby Bottle microphone. Really good size for it (with the shock filter attached, for easy set up and break down) Quality product, American made! 5 |

I own three different Blue mics, the Baby Bottle, 2 Snowballs and now the Yeti. (Oh and the now discontinued Blue Webcam 2.0) The Yeti lives up to the quality I expect from Blue. I've not tried the stereo setting on the mic, but all the others work as I would expect. (I own a total of about 20 mics for my home studio.) The Yeti will serve nicely for voiceovers and other speaking needs. I've used the Snowballs in the past for this, but I'm a mic hound so when there was a sale I bought a Yeti. I have to say I like the frequency response of the Yeti better, at least for my voice. Setup consisted of plugging it in. I like the stand, high quality and stable. The mute button is a bit squishy, but that is a nit. Overall, the mic delivers in spades! 5 |

I use these desiccant capsules with a Sealife housing which has a built-in holder designed for this product. I only had two capsules for a 10 day/31 dive live-aboard trip so needless to say, I needed a recharging method. I used an old vitamin bottle to hold some Damp Check (calcium chloride) granules. At the end of the day, I would drop thedesiccantcapsule in the bottle and next day it was nearly deep blue (changes from blue to a clear-pinkish color when depleted). Since I had two capsules, there was always one in the bottle for 24 hrs. This system worked reasonably well however if I had more capsules, it would work even better hence this purchase. Another recharging method would be to use one of those coffee cup warmers designed for your office desk or the hotel rooms' coffee maker hot plate. Just protect the plastic casing from direct heat. Be advised, these capsules are fairly large (41 mm long, 7 mm diameter) - they would not fit in a housing with limited space. 5 |

I am using these in my club for on stage microphones. For the low price, the cables are great. The locking connector doesn't wobble in the mics at all. Outer coating is durable. They work well with our mics. 5 |

I am using the H6 to record live performances on stage. The two microphones pick up the sound on stage and the first two TRS inputs take the signal from the mains of the mixer. I have recorded two gigs with 4 tracks, and 5 hours each so far and I am very impressed. After recording with WAV 24/96 I loaded the files in my DAW and the quality is absolutely amazing. Love the H6. With a 64 GB SD Card it records 15 hours with 4 tracks 24/96. 5 |

I own six of these microphones plus a number of AT shot guns. I have used Neumann 87s and 103s and although the frequency response is different, these microphones perform admirably. For stage work (recording plays and musicals) nothing can pull sound off a stage like a Neumann. On the other hand, not having a 3k budget for hardware, forced me to look elsewhereand the 2020s were a good substitute. They are also a good choice for voice-over work. The microphone has reasonably high output, that is clean and exhibits very low self-noise. For my money, the AT2020 is a great value. I have never been disappointed by any Audio Technica product! 5 |

I bought the On-Stage MY900 Ceiling Bar for Microphones and Lights and out of the box it could not hang my lights (very basic lights, btw...) I could find NO other product to make it work than this one! For me it's working fine. I mounted the light to it and it's doing it's very simple job. 5 |

We are a church using LED stage lights. The cameras picked up on a horrible blue light and people looked washed out. What a difference these made. Skin tones on the people look correct now and the stage through the cameras are full of color and look perfect. 5 |
