Blue Microphones The Ringer Snowball Shockmount

I bought this boom arm to use with my Blue Snowball mic and shockmount. The two of these together weigh around 3 or 3.5 pounds and the RODE handles it will. I currently have the arm fully extended and it hasn't changed or slipped into a lower position on its own. I used another brand boom arm prior to this and the arm would slowly creep over a few days from the weight of the Snowball and shockmount. This is a great boom arm to use for podcasting and professional recordings.

Fits perfectly with Blue Bluebird and way cheaper than the Blue shockmount.

I realise this is not what it was designed to do...but I use this screw to mount my Blue Snowball microphone to my GlideGear TMP-50 Teleprompter. The arm that holds the smartphone clips on the teleprompter already has a small threaded portion at the tip, so adding this screw was easy. The shaft is the exact length I needed to go through the arm. It screws perfectly into an Auray adapter. Now my microphone is mounted right in front of me (and out of the shot) and I'm getting much better audio!

We are loving our SnowBall microphones! We are using them for webinars, conference calls, as well as recordings for our school alert calls. Love the SNOWBALL == would highly recommend this device. It has 3 settings for individual use, musical recording or group/conference recording. All setting which work extremely well! The clarity is awesome!

Purchased this shockmount to both hold my shotgun mic for interviews and to position my SDC microphones for acoustic instrument recording. I've always been pleased with my Rycote products and this is no exception. Works as advertised, not overly expensive, and well made. Recommended.

I needed these as a low-profile shockmount solution for an ORTF setup. Works well enough for my application and holds the microphones really tightly.

The Blue Snowball mic produces great sound and it is simple to set up. My Adobe Soundbooth program recognized it as soon as I plugged it into the USB port. I really like the three separate sound modes allowing to use the mic in unidirectional or omni directional modes. The instructions are very clear and have great suggestions as to placement of the mic. I would recommend this mic for anybody searching for great audio on a tight budget.
