Great mic, as always from Blue Microphones. Easy to use, no set up practically. Would only go with Blue mics in the future as well! 5 |

This really is one of THE best microphones on the market.Unlike a lot of USB mics, the Podcaster has accurate vocalreproduction and durability. There's nothing cheap aboutthis piece of equipment. The USB mic is easy to use, greatfor podcasting and voiceovers and even interviews. Fact is,this mic is capable of doing a lot of things, and doing themwell. Not to mention that Rode is one of the finest audiocompanies around. They are committed to quality and it showsin every one of their products. Problems Encountered: The Podcaster software available from the Podcaster Web siteis only Windows compatible. Bummer for us Mac users whowould like to fine-tune the mic a little more. But that'sokay. A 3rd-party plug-in or recording software can usuallytake care of the trouble. Previous Equivalent Items Owned: Mic headset Items I Recommend: Podcaster Shockmount for crisper sound 5 |

For its price, the Blue Yeti far surpasses other microphones in its category. This microphone is easy to use and ready to go, simply plug the USB into your computer and start recording! You will be amazed by the quality of this microphone and its ease of use. I absolutely recommend this microphone for those who are looking for fast and easy quality audio recording. This mic is best used for podcasts, youtube videos, and can even be used for budget friendly music recording! 5 |

The blue yet I is possibly one of the greatest online buys i've ever made. I have worked with multiple microphones and yet this is far by the best I've ever used. It's clear, powerful simple to just plug in and is great for just about everything. Most definitely better than sliced bread and will always get five stars in my book. 5 |

I have been recording for over 10 years so I have a basic grasp on the process. I bought these microphones being skeptical but at $108 ($54 each) I gave them a shot. I instantly love these mics. First, I plugged them into my Tascam DR100 (using a stereo mic bar on a stand walking around) and recorded room ambience, my voice, and different effects like running water, hits, etc. They sounded great. I am recording audio samples to place into my synthesizers/samplers to create new sounds. before I would have had to use either my Rode NT1A, Shure SM7B, or my ribbon mic. A lot of the things I record have fast attack times which can occasionally be captured better with smaller condenser microphones. I have yet to try them in my universal audio and other preamps but if they sound this good in my tascam, I believe the will sound great. P.S. - No they are not neumann mics (which are not a one size fit all either) but they are definitely in a class waaaay above their selling price! I didn't misspell way :) 5 |

I am a professional videographer. This microphone is proving to be an excellent solution for video recording choral concerts. I always setup my camcorder at the back of the auditorium and need to set microphones much closer to the singers and in front of the audience as much as possible. I have routinely used wireless XLR clip-on transmitters on 2 microphones at the top of a tall microphone stand with a cross bar to hold the mics at 90-degrees to each other. That's an awkward amount of weight at the top of a skinny mic stand, and balancing the audio from both mics is always challenging. The AT8022 provides a much cleaner solution, with a single cable discreetly leading down the pole to near the base, where I connect the two transmitter modules to the right and left cable ends. In addition to being a cleaner setup, it gives me better access to the transmitter modules if I need to change batteries, turn them on/off, etc. The stereo separation is better than ever, and the microphone sensitivity seems to be nearly perfect for this application. 5 |

With the pair of microphones mounted on the stereo bar I was able to easily capture a conversation of two documentary subjects, avoiding the hassle of panning a single shotgun mic or fussing with lav mics. The sound quality in the recording was lovely, and the convenience of mounting the mics next to each other and directed toward the subjects was phenomenal. This setup opens up many possibilities at a modest price. My first real-world use case was a resounding success. 5 |

My initial reaction to the Samson XP106w is that it couldn't be much better. It seems VERY well made; its sound production is clear, deep, and loud-enough; and the two included wireless microphones are excellent. I am particularly pleased with the fact that BOTH mics can be paired with the same USB receiver (included). I can then switch back and forth between the two microphones just by shutting one off when the other is turned on. (They just can't be used simultaneously.) Both mics resist inference and feedback remarkably well. 5 |
