For its price, the Blue Yeti far surpasses other microphones in its category. This microphone is easy to use and ready to go, simply plug the USB into your computer and start recording! You will be amazed by the quality of this microphone and its ease of use. I absolutely recommend this microphone for those who are looking for fast and easy quality audio recording. This mic is best used for podcasts, youtube videos, and can even be used for budget friendly music recording!

They do exactly what I wanted them to do. I have a Blue Yeti microphone and I wanted these to use the mic on a stand. They work great.

Even though my Blue Yeti microphone comes with a deluxe, heavy black anodized aluminum stand, I like this one better. The Blue Yeti mic stand is tall, and the mic blocks too much of the view of my monitor. This stand, on the other hand, is the perfect height. The bottom of my microphone is barely 2 inches above the desk. It's amazingly simple to deploy, with three legs that feel like metal, maybe steel, I'm not sure. The little footpads grip the desk nicely. If you want to mount the mic directly to the 5/8 adapter like I did, you will need to purchase a right-angle mini USB adapter, because there's not enough clearance between the bottom of the mic and the stand for a conventional mini USB plug.

I guess I did not realize how big this thing is! Using it with the Auray Desktop Mic Stand and my Blue Yeti with the Blue Shock Mount. All together it makes for a rather large bit of apparatus. I would have like to see a different method of tightening the arm. When I go to turn it to tighten, EVERYTHING moves with it! Maybe an adjustment nut?

Just got it and tried it out today. This is a sturdy stable shockmount for the Blue Yeti. It has the same lock hinge mechanism that's advertized in its predecessor (Radius II). I kept wondering why was it cheaper and they don't mention the locking mechanism the way they did on the older version. Suffice to say, it has that locking mechanism. It kept my Blue Yeti stable during recording and it made me hold off on the Blue Compass or Rode PSA1. I thought my economical mic stand would be no good but the stabilty of this shockmount made my mic stand work great. I had a cheaper shock mount that just couldn't hold the mic in place which made the stand wobbly and I had to hold the mic in place to do recordings with it. Don't cringe at the $49.99 price tag. This shockmount is worth every penny and will keep your Blue Yeti in place, the way you want.

I use this stand to hold up a Blue Yeti mic. It works great although I needed to hold the stand in place with a sandbag due to the mic being quite heavy.
