Blue Ray Disc Drive

I use the 50GB 6x Blue-ray Disc (10-Pack Spindle) by Verbatim for my video work, and burn with the very hot 12x Buffalo Blu-ray burner that I also bought from B&H. If you are reading my review, like me, you know B&H has the best price and best products. I am glad Verbatim has upped the burn speed to 6x, and hope to see 12x soon.

I like to open/close and power buttons on the unit. looking forward to trying a 4K blue ray disc. easy setup and operation. did not need any help or instructions.

This is 16x blu-ray drive from LG compatible with M-DISC disk. This is OEM version. So, it is barebone drive. No software included but it is plug-n-play with Windows 10. This drive is pretty quiet during operation.

I needed this to get photos, home video, and audio recordings off of old CDs and DVDs that are degrading (faster than I'd thought). I just plugged it to my Mac (late 2018, intel processor) via usb-C and it worked! I didn't have to install anything. Anyway, my favorite things about this disc drive is how slim it is and that it doesn't need a separate power supply or cable. It works with a single USB-C cable. Two more things: 1. It comes with software but it's only compatible with PC. 2. I tried looking for legitimate software for 4k Blu-ray playback and couldn't find anything that didn't look at least a little sketchy. If watching Blu-ray movies is what you want to do with this drive (without ripping discs), know you won't be able to do that-or if you figure it out, it'll likely be a hassle. Finally, I didn't know I'd feel nostalgic after hearing the spinning of a disc in a disc drive but I did.

Great blue-ray player

This Blu-ray Disc Player works great and was a steal from B&H.
