Bluetooth Adapter And Audio Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little Bluetooth adapter to connect to my audio system. Although my receiver has built-in Bluetooth, it is very finicky to connect to. This unit solved the problem. I like that it has an optical cable connector to make the connection to my receiver.

The Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter works right out of the box. It comes with a power supply , a mini-stereo to RCA cord. In my case I connected to the Aux-Input on an old Sony receiver. I paired it to my iPhone 4s and my macbook pro with no trouble. My daughter's macbook pro paired up right away but she tried to stream her iTunes and it would not go. However, her Spotify went fine. The range seemed acceptable. There were some artifacts (like digital hiccups) but I am not sure it was the device or the laptop.

Very impressed with the quality from Asus with this bluetooth adapter. Works perfectly and as described. Couldn't settle for anything less!

Interface is simple and basic. Advanced settings are not available in the OSD so you have to use the receiver's. Audio over Bluetooth is good but is not recommended if you care about sound quality (default codec is SBC, AAC if you pair from the phone directly) . You can manually config your audio setup but configurations are not that advanced. Build quality is excellent, didn't expect the price.

I have been using the first version of the headset for quite some tim and have been satisfied with it in all aspects. The audio quality is in point with many other competitors, bluetooth connection is very easy and seamless. Love the slick design and glad it was kept almost the same compared to the first one The support also was of great help since I lost the charging case and they provided me with a flat 50% of for a new pair with really fast an accurate delivery across EU

For 2 years, I have been using the Jabra Evolve 65 headset that pairs to a PC via bluetooth adapter. While the audio quality is excellent with the Evolve 65, when speaking on my corporate VoIP UC application, my range was limited to bluetooth ranges. The audio quality drops off sharply within 20 feet, and does not penetrate my household walls, doors, glass windows, etc. I could not comfortably walk into the kitchen or restrooms with the bluetooth transmission ranges. When I purchased this new headset, all of my range limitations went away! The DECT wireless allows me to go anywhere in my house, or even outside to the mailbox without interrupting the audio quality of my work. I work from home full-time, and the Engage 75 is the first headset that keeps me working and audible anywhere I wander around my home.

I’m not a pro concerning audio quality, but Bluetooth connection speed is outstanding. Love that style in everything including on/off sounds. One thing I miss about this headphones - no case included nor in official accessories.

A friend of mine had the older version of these without the bluetooth; used them for his vinyl turntable. I was impressed with the sound from them then but didn't have the opportunity to play them at louder levels or with tracks that I was deeply familiar with already to really evaluate them. After purchasing these for myself however, I'm completely blown away by the audio quality that they can achieve with such a small footprint. They can get LOUD and the natural audio balance is really nice. Substantial bass -- more than what I expected from these -- but not muddy or overpowering. I have them hardwired to my turntable and they've been fantastic for that but what I was really surprised by was the audio quality over bluetooth that they can achieve. It's really nice to pair them to my computer or phone and completely fill my office with music. There is some continuous baseline audio noise that you can hear if nothing is playing and you are right next to the speakers, however they are currently directly plugged into an outlet on a rather noisy circuit in my house. But ultimately if something is playing you'd never notice it; the signal-to-noise ratio in this case is still really good. All this being said, I absolutely do not regret this purchase in any way. They punch way above their belt in both size and cost. They're small enough that they could potentially be used as computer speakers. But they're big enough to provide enough resonance for deeper sounds. If you want speakers to put on a bookshelf in your office and absolutely fill the room even at only 30% volume with phenomenal fidelity -- get these.

Super happy with everything included, met my expectations from audio technica. Very happy I went with the Bluetooth option, the quality is not effected nearly as much as I thought it would be, and now I can listen on my home system without running wires. I use the Aluratek ABC02F Universal Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Transmitter connected to the Optical Audio output on my Sony TV. It pairs with a set of Sony Bluetooth earbuds to provide a separate channel for audio for my aging ears while the TV's audio continues to function independently for the rest of the family. The optical connection to the TV was simple and the ABC02F paired quickly and easily to the Sony Earbuds. The ABC02F is plugged into a USB port on the TV and is always on so the earbuds are reconnected within the time it takes to remove them from their charger/case and insert them into the ear.
