Sound is excellent, links automatically with all remotes through "arc" feature on hdmi 2 port.

Easy to connect up to my TV, even thought its an antique w/o e-ARC HDMI. It has a optical port that handled that issue. It has the option to connect an external sub-woofer and a variety of sound settlings. I have it set to the basic stereo as its a bedroom TV, the sound is lightyears better than the TV speakers. I would buy again.

this is a major upgrade over my old soundbar. while you will not get the full home theater atmos experience, movies sound impressive. the voice boost feature is great for programs with poor sound mixes, it really works well! The only downside was connecting with my TV which has no HDMI out labeled and you have to go to the manual to find which port is the ARC. Not Polk's fault, just know there is just one HDMI input on the bar, you need a HDMI/ARC port on your TV

If you only have one HDMI port on your GPU like me, this is a great adapter to have. Just plug the display port side into the computer and then hook up your HDMI cable to the other end.

had a bellkin usb c adapter with hdmi out and a few ports from my usb-c only macbook days. the hdmi was really slow to connect so i was looking for a display port solution. this unit was the most expensive one i looked at and im super glad i paid more. the tb4 is insanely fast and i never get the “your accessory is drawing too much power’ message any more. the display port is also crazy fast to connect from stand by, the front and rear facing ports are nice for accessibility while keeping a pretty tidy desk, and the power brick is actually smaller than the one for my usb c. if you can afford it, this is the one to get in 2023.

I have tested this adaptor with a different combination of computers, monitors and projectors without any big issues. The adapter comes in a small box the size of a cell phone but the thickness of two. The box is very difficult to open and the adapter sits in a flimsy tray within the box. The packaging was all wrecked removing the adaptor for the first time. The adapter has a VGA port on one side and the other side has a 3.5mm audio port, HDMI cable and Micro USB-B port. The adaptor says that is doesn't require any power so I am unsure why it has a USB port on. There are no included instructions in the box, on the box or on the web site to provide more information. When I first connected this adaptor to my computer I was shocked how quickly it was working. If I connected the HDMI port first to my computer then almost instantly of connecting a monitor the video and sounds were working. If I connect the VGA cable first, then audio and video start within 3 to 4 seconds as does any normal HDMI monitor. The sound and picture from this dongle were crisp, clear and without any delay. When I first played copy protected content (i.e. Netflix) the dongle stopped working and I had to disconnect then reconnect and it started working again. I have not been able to reproduce this issue since but I thought it would be worth noting. This adaptor starts working very quickly. I had doubts about converting HDMI to analog but my mind has been changed since using this adaptor. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

I love the design of this HDMI adapter. It rotates and bends allowing it to fit in most situations, which is very helpful. It is also great for reducing stress because it can be placed in any position you desire and will also adjust to movement. I think that is a really cool design. I've used mini-HDMI to HDMI adapters before, but most if not all, are in a fixed position. So, to be able to adjust the position to the situation is a big plus in my opinion. And the fact that it can be positioned to reduce stress on the port and the cable is a big bonus. Anything that helps to protect your expensive camera is huge. The adapter is made of plastic, but it seems well made. I actually like that it is plastic because that reduces the weight, which in turn helps to reduce stress on the camera's HDMI port. Having this adapter also allows you to use a regular HDMI to HDMI cable for the long run to the camera. I like that because I have many of these regular HDMI cables which are more available and also have more uses, as opposed to the camera specific mini-HDMI. Overall, I'm impressed with this swiveling and rotating adapter. It is a cool design, reduces stress on my camera's mini-HDMI port and is well-made.
