We used this adapter with a 5-yr-old HP Envy 700 (Windows 10, 64-bit) that lacked an HDMI output but had good USB3.0 ports, to connect to a Dell Ultrasharp 27 capable of QHD 2560 x 1440 @ 60Hz. The guidance with the adapter said we might need to update drivers and this was the case, but easy. Everything connected and worked as described, with beautiful results. 5 |

A USB-C to DisplayPort adapter was necessary to connect an external monitor to the office supplied Windows laptop. This fairly inexpensive adapter does the job well with no video artifacts while performing typical office tasks.
