The Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter works right out of the box. It comes with a power supply , a mini-stereo to RCA cord. In my case I connected to the Aux-Input on an old Sony receiver. I paired it to my iPhone 4s and my macbook pro with no trouble. My daughter's macbook pro paired up right away but she tried to stream her iTunes and it would not go. However, her Spotify went fine. The range seemed acceptable. There were some artifacts (like digital hiccups) but I am not sure it was the device or the laptop.

Of course my new late-2020 MacBook Air has different ports from my old mid-2013 MacBook Air. I needed an adapter for my monitor, backup disk, wireless keyboard, etc. This is the perfect adapter. I use an iMac with several USB drives and accessories. This adapter allows me to use those same drives and accessories with my MacBook Air. I have not noticed any performance differences when using this adapter to connect the drives to my new laptop.

I was using a flush mount SD adapter in my MacBook Air. Then I got a MacBook Pro 13 and that adapter stuck out on my MBP 13, so I purchased the JetDrive Lite 330. It fits flush in my MBP and is substantially faster. Only took about 5 minutes to copy the data over that took 1 hour with my other adapter card. Very happy so far with performance and it fits flush in my MBP.

This adapter works perfectly for my new MacBook Air with M1 chip and 16Gb RAM! I am Zooming all the time and screen sharing, so I use the Ethernet port and HDMI for my second screen!
