I plug the 3.5mm mini-jack end into my dual wireless lav receiver. I plug the two XLRs into my audio recorder. The stereo signal from the lav receiver splits into Left on one XLR and Right on the other XLR, leaving me with two Mono tracks on the audio recorder. Exactly what I need. 5 |

This has been fantastic for recording audio for video. I use a Rode shotgun mic with mini jack, and a couple wireless lavs. In the past I'd had to choose which to record. Now, I can use the two XLR in's for lavs, and the stereo mini jack in for my Rode mic. Two mono sources and one stereo source each to their own channel. Does get any better than that. I've also found it really easy with this device to record venue audio. For example, I can quickly hand it to an in-house sound engineer, and he can figure out really quickly how to give me a feed and how to level it on the device without much/any explanation. 5 |

Bought is audio adapter because my new laptop had only one jack for handling audio input and output. I had read many complaints about the lack of separate input and output. This adapter works without problems. Definitely would recommend if you find there are problems using a single jack for input and output. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still don’t understand the move to remove the audio jack. especially since you now have to make the decision between your headphones (that will need an adapter) and charging. No longer! This adapter gives you the headphone audio adapter as well as an accessory lightning jack which can be used for charging, etc. !!! 5 |
