I use my mouse for regular computer use and CAD drawing. So far have had no issues. I really like the light click, you just have to put a little pressure on the button instead of having to push like you want to break it. I also really like and use the programmable buttons. When you use it on a extended desktop with a PC it moves smoothly and evenly unlike some other mice.

What a dream this mouse is! I was using a 3 button Logitech mouse for CAD work along side my Apple Magic Mouse, and my hands and wrist were sore after a long days work. I was hesitant about spending this much on a mouse, but from the first touch, it was relief. The size is larger and sculpted to be very comfortable with all the buttons and scroll wheel well placed. It is solid and smooth as silk, feels like a very high quality piece of equipment, not like some cheap plastic ones. Highly recommended.

This is a great alternative to a mouse. I use it for 3D Cad programs and really everything. I can whip around the screen much better with this trackball. I highly recommend it!

I truly enjoy this mouse and think it is worth its price tag if you use CAD software. I find it great for Autocad Civil3D, Leica Cyclone and Microstation. The middle button takes some time to get used to but is hard to live without once your used to it. I also have the wireless version for my house. I like the feel of this one better due to its size.

It's a mouse so how different can they be? I've been using a MS arc mouse with my CAD work and found it unacceptable. This mouse is comfortable and does more than expected. You won't be disappointed if you buy one.
