Purchased the NETGEAR PowerLINE 2000 to provide a wired connection to my DirecTV receiver. This solved my problem with dropped wifi connections. Also used the second connection to hard wire connect to my smart TV. On screen apps now work like they are supposed to. Highly recommend this product. Five STARS! 5 |

This receiver has revitalized my 1980s stereo system by allowing Bluetooth transfer from my Sony Walkman (CD quality) and from an iPhone. When powered the receiver goes into pairing mode--your device remembers this receiver...you are connected. So far there has been no problem with connection or distance from the receiver. As this is my second unit (first attached to another stereo system) I only wish I could rename the unit as it comes up with the same name...only to be identified by the Bluetooth address. If you only have one of these, this will not be an issue. Attachment is simple: connect using RCA supplied cord to your receiver aux input. Having it on a switched plug on the receiver is very convenient. If not, you would have to push the light button to switch it into on mode. It has an auto off after a few minutes of not receiving a signal. It also has an optical connection. 5 |

Solved the problem of the DirecTV receiver causing ground loop (because of the ground at the home entry). Using a Denon AVR 6500H as the preamp for Parasound A21+, placed the Jensen Transformers Iso-Max CI-2RR - 2-Channel Ground Isolator about a couple of feet from the Parasound RCA input and 3 feet from the Denon (all bluejeans LC-1 capbles). Dead silence now during quiet periods. The good part about placing the isolation break at the input to the power amplifier is that the Jensen should still be effective should there be other ground problems now or later, beyond the Directv receiver. 5 |

I bought this receiver for the Bluetooth connectivity. I am now able to play my iTunes songs from the iTunes cloud through my iPhone and the new Receiver to our inside and / or outside speakers - all from my lounge chair. I am handicapped, so this is of great help to me. 5 |
