The iFi hip-dac 3 is an exceptional portable DAC/amp that delivers a warm, rich sound profile perfect for audiophiles on the go. Its ability to produce a full-bodied sound with deep, impactful bass and smooth mids makes it a standout choice for those who appreciate a lush, immersive listening experience. The warm tonal quality enhances vocals and instruments, giving them a natural and engaging presence that draws you into the music. One of the hip-dac 3's most impressive features is its powerful amplification. Despite its compact size, this device can drive demanding headphones with ease, delivering loud, distortion-free audio that remains clear and dynamic even at higher volumes. Whether you're using high-impedance headphones or sensitive in-ear monitors, the hip-dac 3 ensures you get the best possible performance. 5 |

Highly versatile and compact Bluetooth Receiver/Transmitter with built-in DAC. It has separate optical input and outputs and a dual-use coax line. The Bluetooth connectivity is solid but it might take a few tries with older Bluetooth equipment. Once you're connected, it stays connected. Highly recommended! 5 |

Okay so first off this product runs around $+ and when first being released to the U.S. it was going for a typical $. Now, I will be honest I have seen B&H but never actually purchased anything from their site...wow boy should I have. I found this for $ less than the best price, but it does not end there. No, it was paired with a free headphone that is priced out $-$ and is considered one of the best in it's price range, the Shure 440 monitor headphones. So I get around + dollars worth of audio gear for the price of $, um sound good? ... Yes! it definitely does, and I am now currently trying out each of my headphones accordingly, because the external DAC I was using before this, AMB Gamma 1 Lite, was a good DAC for a older DIY model. It was only able to produce playback at 16bit and 48khz resolution, basically mastered CD quality. Now for a starting DAC(Digital to analog converter) it is very nice, but even with the first couple of minutes and without burning in the Fostex I could tell this is some of the best money I spent this year. Now, if all of this was not enough to sell you on this purchase, on top of this they offered free shipping.... and I got this device 24hours later from the initial order. Fantastic product! fantastic DEAL!, Fantastic bonus headphone!, and Fantastic store! I will definitely be adding B&H to my top 5 list for stores I check when ordering audio and computer equipment. 5 |

I've been reading a lot of reviews on this particular pair headphones and wonder if we are listening to the same model. Some people say that it doesn't have enough bass and some say it's bulky....etc. In my experience, it sounded GREAT for the price. I'm on my 10hrs breaking it in. It sounded better and better as I break it in. The imaging is amazing for the price. The only thing I complain about is that it's heavy. It's very close to my HD598 in sound imaging. Not as comfortable and clear though. BUT the HD598 cost more and a totally different pair of heaphones. To be fair, I use the HD280 PRO with a DAC and a Headphones AMP. With the DAC and AMP along with good audio file, you get plenty of lows (Bass). Overall, I am glad that I bought this pair of headphones. As for it being heavy and bulky, I've come to accept it. 5 |

Headphones sound great. I have them running through a Monolith USB Dac from Mononprice. I feel there are very neutral but need more listening time. 5 |

First, let me start by stating that I am not a habitual audiophile, nor have I comparison reviewed countless products. Just a guy with an appreciation for music, a moderate budget, and enough desk-time to make a decent setup worth the investment. For reference, I am currently using this product in combination with the Master & Dynamic MH40 Over-Ear Monitors and TIDAL's HIFI digital streaming service. In sequence, this product was the third of three items that comprise my setup (monitors, streaming product, & dac - in that order). After purchasing good headphones and upgrading to better source material, the final piece was to eliminate the onboard sound processing on my MacBook Pro. When combined with other high fidelity products, this DAC made a noticeable different in the overall quality and listening experience. The sound is more warm/full and the notes more sharp/precise. I went with this particular DAC over some of the other similar (portable) units because of it's no-frills, all value feature set. USB powered, physical volume, and the ability to power headphones or desktop monitors. No on board EQ, gain, display, or anything else that may distract you from the core purpose of this product (to decode digital audio). I also went with this unit because other folks who are qualified to compare this product with others of similar likeness gave it high ratings for it's audio dac performance. Super happy with it. Would buy it again / recommend to friends. 5 |

This DAC is versatile and produces an amazing sound. It is easy to use and set up. I have mine at my office to listen to music while I work. It drives Sennheiser HD 600 headphones well. It is easy to switch from line out to the headphones. 5 |

I've owned the Shure SE425 in-ear headphones and the SE535 for some time now. I love the clear and non-bass reproduction of the Shure SE425, on my iPhone 6s especially in conjunction with the In-Line Remote/Mic Cable. When paired with the Bluetooth 5.0 Communication Cable, the bass is much more pronounced, almost too much for me! The Shure SE535 headphones sound warmer, the frequency response may score better in tests, but in conjunction with my iPhone I prefer the SE425. However, things are different when pairing my Android phone with a DAC headphone amplifier: Here, the Shure SE535 headphones clearly show their strengths compared to the SE425. Without a DAC headphone amplifier, however, you can spare yourself the additional costs. 5 |
