I bought this receiver for the Bluetooth connectivity. I am now able to play my iTunes songs from the iTunes cloud through my iPhone and the new Receiver to our inside and / or outside speakers - all from my lounge chair. I am handicapped, so this is of great help to me.

I have a small YouTube channel concentrated on motorcycles and exercise. I have used remote mic(s) in the past to record sound on a separate file with these devices. The limitations for me are post production editing complications and limitations on movement along with flexibility. The new Rode Wireless Go II solves most of these issues. I can now do interviews with two people. Record to a single file using the transmitter to receiver set up, and move around freely while VLOGGING. Plus when the receiver is input directly to my GoPro or Sony ZV-1 (also purchased from B&H) Camera I have a single file that contains visual plus audio information. Making post production editing easier. The range distance on these is remarkable. Plus I tried a walk around my house while recording in the garage and the sound was transmitted through walls and doors with no drop out or sound artifacts....most impressive. Highly recommended.

For a Portable Walkman I still like the NW-WS 6xx series to be able to flip from Bluetooth to local file Mp3 for when I want stories or music without a phone and hands free. The units tend to fail around 14 months so I now buy the extended warranty and its worth every penny.

I was an audio file 30 years ago and find the sound to be very impressive both Bluetooth and direct hook up. Three levels of different boost allows it to sound great with every device. In addition it is so simple to use that even my kids are loving it. Great turntable. I would recommend it for any level listener.

This receiver has revitalized my 1980s stereo system by allowing Bluetooth transfer from my Sony Walkman (CD quality) and from an iPhone. When powered the receiver goes into pairing mode--your device remembers this receiver...you are connected. So far there has been no problem with connection or distance from the receiver. As this is my second unit (first attached to another stereo system) I only wish I could rename the unit as it comes up with the same name...only to be identified by the Bluetooth address. If you only have one of these, this will not be an issue. Attachment is simple: connect using RCA supplied cord to your receiver aux input. Having it on a switched plug on the receiver is very convenient. If not, you would have to push the light button to switch it into on mode. It has an auto off after a few minutes of not receiving a signal. It also has an optical connection.
