This transmitter (used with the USB receiver) is a simple trigger and remote control system. What I like about this system is that every time I press the shutter button on my camera, it triggers and I never get a misfire. That may sound silly but many systems have misfires or odd behaviors. I haven't experienced any of that when using this system with the Angler Q400 monolight. Operating the remote is easy and straight forward, giving me 1/3 stop control of my bare bulb flashes and 1/10 stop control over monolights. Perfect.

You have to make sure that you are in close distance to the camera otherwise the camera won't go off. Overall good accessory to have!

The ML-L3 Remote Control Transmitter is most useful when working with the camera on a tripod for taking portraits or shots under low light conditions. The ML-L3 resides in my shirt pocket until needed and can be used from most anywhere in the room -- just remember to point the rounded end into the open space. I found the ML-L3 Remote Control Transmitter to be a very usefull tool in the time of need when you are working with children. You can get a little closer to do what it is you do to make them laugh.

I use this product to control the input to an Atlona HDBaseT transmitter and it's been a fantastic combination. The input switching is very fast and works well with a TiVO, Apple TV, and a Mac Mini. I've been controlling the switcher with a Logitech Harmony remote. The included remote is ugly and feels awkward, but it does work well.

I use the Pelican case to store a remote control helicopter transmitter. The pick n' pluck foam was a great way to get the exact shape of this item. I was even able to pick out sections for storing some smaller parts. Pelican is well known for their exteremely strong construction.

Bought it to use with the Canon R5. Bluetooth pairing is very straightforward, this remote control does its job.

Finally a native wirelesses remote control for an Olympus/OM System camera. Great for long exposures, self portraits and time-lapse. Keep in mind that if the remote control is connected via bluetooth the remote camera application on your phone will not work simultaneously, likewise you can not get GPS data from your phone via bluetooth. It is fully compatible only with OM-1 (works both wireless and wired). However, it can also work wired with certain older Olympus cameras (OM-D mk II &III, OM-D E-M1X). Its range is around 20-25 feet, it is an IP57 dustproof and splashproof rated construction.
