Bluetooth Headphones Change Modes Gaming

It's rare seeing a pair of headphones that genuinely shine in almost every regard. But with the WH-1000XM3, Sony has created an indisputable winner, a categorically top-notch set of cans whose only shortcoming is the absence of 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity, something we hardly ever see outside of the gaming market. They do have Bluetooth, though, so as long as you have a smart TV, an Nvidia Shield, a gaming laptop, or a Bluetooth-capable motherboard, you should be set for the reclusive world of active noise canceling. Unlike other noise-canceling headphones, the WH-1000XM3 use an unusually silent QN1 HD noise-canceling processor. In our testing, we found it was able to keep out most sounds, even on the crowded New York City subway. The battery does take a hit for this, but you can take solace in the fact that the WH-1000XM3 last 30 hours fully charged. After 10 minutes of being plugged in via USB-C, Sony claims they can deliver pristine high fidelity sound over five hours. And, to top it all off, volume and playback commands are touch-based. Goodbye forever, inline controls. Image 1 of 6

This is a great speaker! I've used all four modes and have not been disappointed. The Bluetooth works around the house and even works simultaneously with my Emberton II connected to my phone. I've used it to improve sound from me TV and with an inexpensive audio extractor I have used it for sound for my Epson 4010 projector while I await delivery of my home theater system. I give this speaker full marks.

Everything you need a remote to be. Change between Modes and Activities, and even trigger speed ramping from Timewarp. Displays all of the relevant info, real time, so you know what is happening. If you need more (adjust settings or live view), just use the app. It works slightly differently with the 8. It does not provide the details of activities (Resolution/fps/speed/lens). So if you regularly switch between modified or custom Activities, you'll need to memorize the settings. Not a big deal... just an FYI if you plan on using with an 8.

I've tried using this in all of the modes available for customization. I find myself using it most to quickly change camera settings in TV/AV mode or the ISO mode. This comes in handy when changing settings quickly. I would recommend this to almost everyone.

I use the headphones to listen to TV late at night via bluetooth. Between the Headphones & TV they connect automatically with easy volume controls.

Three weeks in and these headphones are nothing short of incredible! I love how the headphones have three different modes - Quiet, Aware, and Immersion to cater to different settings I am in. The headphones themselves are very comfortable and the battery lasts an incredibly long time. Receiving calls on the headphones is a great experience. I like the noise that pops up when someone answers the phone and when the call ends. The quality of the calls is great. My only critique is the headphone case where the headphones have to be folded in to fit.
