Bluetooth Headphones For Swimming

Just got these yesterday for Father's Day and soon after opening them already had tons of songs loaded (as simple as plugging into your computer, it showing up as a drive and copying the files over), read the instructions in about 30 seconds and was in the water swimming within minutes. I am blown away by the comfort and sound quality of these headphones in the water (and out). This is my first experience with this type of headphones and wow it is game changing for me as I do not like things in my ears. The ability to comfortably listen to music while swimming (and doing all kinds of other things like mowing the lawn, doing yardwork, walking the dogs, biking, exercising, etc.) and still be able to be fully aware of your surroundings is really a game changer for me. Of course this set does not support bluetooth as it's made to be in the water (which I actually prefer as I don't need to carry my phone with me to have a bluetooth connection), but definitely going to get another set for times when I do want to have bluetooth connectivity. These are incredibly comfortable, stay put through all kinds of movements in the pool and work very well with goggles, sunglasses, etc.. Cannot recommend them enough.

Never had Bluetooth headphones till now and I'm loving them.

After disappointing experiences with a variety Bluetooth earbuds I was impressed with how well the Sony Walkman works both in and out of the water. It has made running and swimming enjoyable again. Robust construction and a good fit. Stays snug while exercising and sound quality isn't muffled or compromised while swimming. There are six buttons/controls but easy enough to figure out after one or two uses. I had to reread the instruction several times to absorb this, To prevent battery deterioration, charge the battery at least once every six months or every year. Huh? What? No more daily charging? Can this possibly be true - six months? Hallelujah! The only CON at the moment is the SHUFFLE setting doesn't seem to shuffle thru all the music. I'm hearing repeats but maybe it just needs time... Anyway I'm very happy with this unit the four times I've used it both in and out of the pool.

These are the best, swimming headphones, I’ve owned! They work fantastically. One quibble: the bass is a little heavy for me. I hope future models give us a wide range of EQ settings.

I have tried in ear water proofed headphones while swimming with my conclusion being there was no way to listen while doing laps. Well the openswim set that I have changed all that, they are fantastic. With the openswim on, ear plugs in and head submerged it gives you a feeling on music being in your head. Not sure how openrun would feel as it takes all three of the above to give the immersed feeling.

The SHOKZ OpenSwim Open-Ear MP3 Player Swimming Headphones are superb. The bone conduction works incredibly under water. And the fidelity is seamless, clear, and precise. Love these for workouts and swimming laps. Shokz is a great company.

The NW-WS413 is an improvement over the prior model NWZ-W273. All buttons are easier to press and give more tactile response. The docking contacts on the headphones are raised so they make a better connection to the docking station, which was sometimes a problem with the prior model. It also seems that the maximum volume is a bit louder, which helps me better hear podcasts while swimming. There are a couple of additional functions that I don't use, but otherwise not much of a change. It would be nice to have more memory (at a reasonable price) and the ability to fast forward or rewind within a song or podcast. Overall though, I find these to be the best waterproof swimming headphones currently available.
