Bluetooth Headphones For Tv Hard Of Hearing

My husband and I each have a set, we are older and have a hard time hearing the TV. Weve paired with Bluetooth to each of our TVs using a Bluetooth transmitter on the TV.  Many of the shows have music in the background making it much more difficult to understand what they are saying. With these, it is easier to actually hear what is being said. The charger cord is extremely short, but is not a problem for us because I just lay them on top of the computer tower and plug in.  My husband has a USB port in the console of the sectional. He plugs in and closes the console lid.  The cord is literally only 4 inches long.  True story. Dont be using the headphones and be waiting to hear someone knock on the door!  You wont hear them!  The noise canceling feature works quite well. For ambient sound, just cover the right side of the earphones, and you can hear sounds around you better...and it temporarily mutes the sound in the headphones. Being harder of hearing, we have to uncover an ear so we can hear. They are very comfortable.  I do miss the old-timey sound control wheels.  To change the volume, tap the middle of the right earphone and swipe up or down.  It works, but a wheel is more convenient.  New and improved isnt always better. I have no popping or static with these, which is huge to us!  We just retired two NEW pair because of this very problem (they were also Sony). They werent returnable...should have been a red flag at time of purchase.  Lesson learned. All in all, we both love our headphones!

TV dialogue in a large room can be hard to fully understand, even for those with good hearing and a full-blown SONOS setup. These headphones solve the problem and even enhance the sound. Being wireless the freedom of movement is a pleasure. Coupled with an add-on optical audio switch/splitter, both the TV speakers and headphones can be used together for maximum flexibility.

Very happy with your product. I wear hearing aids and usually take them out and replace them with Bluetooth headphones to listen to audiobooks and podcasts and music. Great device.Being hearing impaired, I can now watch and hear my TV and other bluetooth devices and put my hearing aids away.

I use the headphones to listen to TV late at night via bluetooth. Between the Headphones & TV they connect automatically with easy volume controls.

I bought a 43" Roku TV and the speakers for my grandmother who is hard of hearing. She's 93 and has trouble with ANY kind of tech... (Navigation is confusing) I was able to integrate her "routine" into a new TV and with a larger screen AND big sound. She can now enjoy her TV shows and HEAR what's going on... We're introducing her to 4K and other channels but she forgets how to navigate... (Oh well we tried) Overall a great buy and super cheap for what they do... Move over Bose... Roku is reinventing the TV experience... A-la carte style! ARE THERE SURROUND VERSIONS COMING OUT ANYTIME SOON WITH A SUBWOOFER?

I am a hard of hearing master’s student. These headphones are everything! Get the bone conduction technology. It is easy to get used to. Love these. Bought 2 pair: one for music and one for zoom classes and zoom meetings.

These are the best headphones I've ever used. From somebody having hearing loss from the military, it has always been hard hearing through earbuds without shoving them deep into your head. With the AfterShokz, I can hear sound from my device clearly without it further impairing my hearing of surrounding noises.

The hearing is going, so I rigged it up with a headphone amp with headphones to watch (and now I can hear!) TV. Never had a pro EQ before, but for my purpose this is an A1 buy.
