I was hesitated for this headset for quite a while. It is mostly due to the high price around 90+. B&H had it for $ and I had no second thought and grabbed it. The PC dongle works great as your audio device stay online whether you have the headset set to USB or not. This won't confuse the PC as applications tend to bind it to an audio device and get confused when you disconnect devices. Bind a bluetooth headset to PC and you know what I mean. I use the bluetooth mode for my cell phone only. Switching works flawlessly with a toggle on the headset. The boom mic also falls into one of my strict criteria as I found most of the wireless bluetooth headset without boom mic struggle to deliver clear voice. This one will not let anyone to notice you on wireless. I have it working with all my VOIP app, including my company Cisco VOIP app.

The bluetooth connection is between the base and the cell phone, with DECT to the headset. So you leave the phone on your desk and take the headset with you if you want to walk around. I use this product to switch one TRRS headset between PC and iPhone. There are many other TRS switchers, but the TRRS switcher is rare. This product seems to work perfectly as a TRRS switcher and satisfies my need. I've tried another cheap TRRS switcher before, but that would cause the speaker output to flow back into the mic input, so it wasn't practical. This product does not have such issue and works well as a simple switcher. Since this product is just a simple switcher, so it may feels a little expensive. However, I guess the price is not a drawback because it could be used for a long time.

I was a little worried when I took this out of the box that it was way too small for its intended use. I am using this with a Razer ManO'War PC Headset. I am tempted to pick up a couple more for easy access to my phone wirless headset, Bose, and my laptop headset, wired too. it fits pretty much on any desk or table that was a open ledge to tighten it too. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I use this Bluetooth headset for everyday use and workouts. Very comfortable and flexible to take everywhere with you.

Best bluetooth headset that I have had so far. I've gone through two sony headsets in the past few months and these are by far the best I've come across.

I just received this adapter as a test before getting an iphone 8. I am using it with an iPhone 6 plus. The audio sound is better than that iPhone audio port! The sound has more depth, is crisper, and is more vibrant. My headset is a HyperX Cloud gaming headset, and people indicate that the sound of my voice is better with this adapter than using the stock port as well. My gf said it sounded as clear as a landline instead of like a cell phone. The inline controls also work on the headset even though it is not certified made for iPhone.
