I bought two of these as 'preventive medicine' for my R6s. It seems Canon chose to internalize the tightening of the Hot Shoe screws and both my R6s came down with loose/disconnected Hot Shoes. I bought this cage and coupled it with the Vello(1.5') Off-Camera TTL Flash Cord to connect my Canon 600s strobes. If the strobe gets bumped heavy...it breaks the strobe and not the camera. As for the rest of the benefits of the bracket, it fits like a glove BUT...the image B&H has on the website is not the one I received. I like the one I received better as it does not place the hot shoe on an angle. 5 |
