Bluetooth Keyboard Setup Imac

Very sturdy setup for the studio. It's plenty large for the iMac, keyboard, and mouse. iMac is very secure with the bar. Pair it with a rolling stand that can take the weight and you've got yourself a great tethering setup in studio. We use it with the Tether Tools low boy rolling stand. Works fantastic. You'll also need the Kupo ball head adapter. Of all the various options and designs out there for attaching an iMac to a stand, this one is my favorite, since it also gives space for the keyboard and mouse. It's also one of the more cost effective options. Very happy with it.

I bought this keyboard for my new home recording setup, replacing an iMac with a new Mac Mini Pro. Having touch ID while installing tons of programs and plugins was a huge time saver!

Read the fine print. This uses Bluetooth LE, and that requires an iPad3 or better. After wondering why it didn't work with either iPad2 here, I found that tidbit (which I had missed) in the fine print, hemmed, hawed, and opted to upgrade the iPad side of the system. It is a quality product, which on the one hand seems quite pricey for what is effectively a 2 button bluetooth keyboard, but on the other hand is much better made than whatever I might kludge up from a cheaper bluetooth keyboard with many more keys. The keys are lit, soft, and silent, and the device is considerably more affordable than some others in its niche - and with the keys on top, not over the edge, it works fine on carpets (some reviews indicate that is a weakness of some competing devices.) For hands-free page turning it really is ideal. Intended for foot operation, it is a bit larger than you'd expect from the pictures.

I have missed having a tactile keyboard for my iMac. I now type much faster with less mistakes.

This keyboard works well with my Dell laptop. Easy Bluetooth connectivity.

Easy to setup, and knowing my imac is protected helps too.

Was still using my wired keyboard from my 2008 iMac (which was a little worse for the ware.) This one seems identical.
