Bluetooth Lapel Microphone System

This was used with a Samson Expedition XP800 amp/mixer/speakers system for an all day event with about 100 people under a large tent. The system was easy to set up and connect with the XP800. The microphones worked very well. For the small microphone, you have the choice of clipping a lapel clip to it or a headset/boom. We used the lapel clip. Be sure to clip it near the center of the body for best pickup. Our first user clipped it a bit to the side, and every time he turned his head the other way, his voice trailed off. With it clipped to a shirt under the chin,, the pickup was remarkable and clear. The instructions state that the mics need AA alkaline batteries and they will last about 8 hours, and don't use rechargeable batteries. These mics were used a lot and did die after about 8 hours. Next time I would use Energizer Lithium batteries for a very long event. A couple of times the microphone popped off of the lapel clip when the speaker had muted their mic and was working with their hands and not paying attention. It clips back on easily.

I purchased the lapel microphone for our church sound system. The quality of the audio is excellent, sharp and clear. Ordering and shipping was excellent.

The LC-1 Lapel Clip, available from B&H, is the original that comes with the Azden lapel microphone, but is not avaible from Azden. The clips are designed well but may still be subject to breakage if talent tries to snap the microphone on or off the clip rather than sliding it.

Had no problems with it. I have both the handheld microphone and the lapel microphone and they both fit well and securely!

I always wanted a small portable PA system, with battery and enough power. Finally, I found it, plus extras that I did not care before, such as a wireless system and Bluetooth. The specific usage is for Christmas Caroling, to play the music tracks for the choir of about 20 people. Expedition XP106 met and exceeded my expectations. It has plenty power (100 watts), a clear and well balance output, and two features that make caroling a breeze. The music tracts can be in my iPhone, which can be sent them to the unit via Bluetooth with no wiring in between, plus, this units comes with a wireless microphone with a small receptor which it is connected to the back of the unit, via USB. The sound of the microphone is very natural and can be played (as we tested, from around 20 feet. The charge, according to the manufacturer can last up to 20 hours, all in a compact unit that is easy to carry and set. Nothing is perfect, thou. I would love to have at least a three points equalizer. I don't think there is a similar unit that matches its specs, including brand name recognition. Great unit. Love it.

Just what I needed to connect a Bluetooth wireless microphone system into a standard large amplifier and speakers.

This was purchased to replace the lapel style microphone that our previous pastor preferred. This suites our pastor better and allows more maneuvering without need to adjust the volume. The ear frame is very stiff and should be fitted very gently to place the mouthpiece about 1- 2 inches at the most away from the corner of the mouth. Other than that works like it is designed to work.

Had originally paired a Sennheiser lapel body pack and handheld microphone to save expense. Then there was a need for these mics to be used simultaneously so needed to find an additional receiver and B&H worked with me in identifying one. It works well as a Sennheiser is expected to. Thank you B&H for the help your Sales stafferdid in finding the right equipment. The new receiver works great with the older microphone. It works as one expects a Sennheiser to work. Other wholesalers were not helpful but B&H was very helpful. Thanks, a Very satisfied customer.

I was recording speeches by tying a lapel mic to the microphone on a mic stand until I found this great product. This one work as a combiner as well!!

Using a lapel microphone in an outdoor environment can be a real challenge. It is a rare day when the wind is not blowing outside and introducing unwanted noise into the microphone. The Furry Windjammer solves this noise problem quite well. I have been told by clients that the furry ball is not all that attractive. However it is far less distracting than wind noise interfering with the audio track. That argument alone diminishes any objections to the use of the Windjammer. This is a great tool that I keep in my audio tool kit and it should be a part of yours.
