Bluetooth Microphone Garageband

Off and on for a decade, I thought about making a Podcast. So when I saw this microphone at a good price, I decided to give it a shot. I record of an iPhone 6s Plus in GarageBand, then use iCloud to move the files to the Mac, where I use GarageBand to do final production. The Polsen microphone gets the job done. If I really do get into Podcasting, I will get a second microphone that is USB. For just playing around to learn about Podcasting, this is perfect. Would also be great for any audio voice recording - say interviews for print journalism or to record living history type memories. 5 |

Setup was very easy for this microphone. It is a simple plug & play use. I tested it with garageband on a mac computer and audacity on a windows computer. Both worked seamlessly. The audio recording quality was better than I expected for paying this price on a microphone. Vocal recording is very nice (singing/podcast type applications). Acoustic guitar recording sounded great. Acoustic guitar was about 8 feet away from the mic when testing it out. I imagine fine tuning my recording process will only make it sound better. I used the mic to record a band practice session. I just placed the mic in the center of the room and played around it. The mic worked surprisingly well to pick up the instruments (recorded in garageband). Obviously this technique is not going to sound amazing but it is better than I have recorded other times with a TASCAM device or other microphone into a computer. The overload led light is nice to visually show you when the microphone input volume is set too high. I have been typically running at 20-30% when testing up-close vocals. So it shows there is an input range to work with. The microphone base stand is a nice simplistic setup. It does limit the positioning of the microphone on there but I believe this is what is intended. The stand will not allow for a horizontal positioning of the mic. Since I do not need the feature and do not think the stand was intended to do that, I did not take away from the rating. I recommend this microphone for anyone looking to have a usb microphone as a step above the bottom line microphones but do not want to spend money in the $100-$150 range. I imagine it would compete with those in terms of audio quality. If you wanted anything better than this, I would say to think about spending over $150. 5 |

I use this microphone for audio podcasts and have found the quality to be excellent. I directly record into GarageBand on my MAC. The connection to the computer was as simple as plugging in any USB device and was up and running in seconds. The quality for this price made this an excellent purchase. I bought a pop filter and stand to go with it to make a great combo. 5 |

I bought this as a replacement for an expensive bluetooth mic, and I was surprised by the high quality of this microphone. 5 |

I always wanted a small portable PA system, with battery and enough power. Finally, I found it, plus extras that I did not care before, such as a wireless system and Bluetooth. The specific usage is for Christmas Caroling, to play the music tracks for the choir of about 20 people. Expedition XP106 met and exceeded my expectations. It has plenty power (100 watts), a clear and well balance output, and two features that make caroling a breeze. The music tracts can be in my iPhone, which can be sent them to the unit via Bluetooth with no wiring in between, plus, this units comes with a wireless microphone with a small receptor which it is connected to the back of the unit, via USB. The sound of the microphone is very natural and can be played (as we tested, from around 20 feet. The charge, according to the manufacturer can last up to 20 hours, all in a compact unit that is easy to carry and set. Nothing is perfect, thou. I would love to have at least a three points equalizer. I don't think there is a similar unit that matches its specs, including brand name recognition. Great unit. Love it. 5 |

Just what I needed to connect a Bluetooth wireless microphone system into a standard large amplifier and speakers. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this ironically I was searching online for a while for a Bluetooth microphone for my job. I record memorial services for veterans who have passed away. I will use this with the 4K 60fps video on my Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max. I have been using it for a little while and it’s great! The app adds some features and functionality as well. Definitely worth it! 5 |

Almost the perfect headset: Bluetooth with my Ipad or my Cellphone, USB w/ my Computer for Skype. Excellent microphone for conversation. Only thing missing would be a way to switch between 2 Bluetooth source 5 |

Purchased this unit specifically for the bluetooth wireless format for my AX-100 Sony 4K camera microphone input. I also have a Sony bluetooth pair ECM-W1M where the receiver is mounted on the Multi-Interface shoe. This ECM-AW4 is very flexible because you can use it with the cameras microphone input jack which I need on my other cams that don't have a Multi-Interface shoe. Another great thing is that these units can be just used as a wireless communication device with another person. The sound quality is great and the range and speed of connection is very good. Battery life is also very good. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for doing public speaking. The sound and bluetooth microphone range are excellent. The sound is phenomenal with mp3 player. Wired microphone I already had was a plug and talk. I am looking forward to my first meeting, where I will show off my JBL Partybox On-the-Go. 5 |
