Bought to use at the Santa Fe opera this summer 2022 season. Really thrilling to be able to focus on each vocalist, stage set, or choral group. I love the Zoom from wider angle 100mm to the finest focus 800 mm. Tempted to take up bird watching to use the Canon Zoom in an outdoor setting. Please list me as your most satisfied customer/user. I'm using this with a Macbook Pro (2017). and a Scarlett 2i2 interface, a Zoom microphone, with and ipod also attached, and connected to the ethernet. This is mostly to enable piano lessons with 2 views on Zoom, and also make recordings. It has all I need for this and more . (I'm not using any additional screens). I like the card reader and headphone jack- easy to use. I can't upgrade my OS, but it works fine with High Sierra. The Caldigit gets a bit warm but doesn't overheat. I unplug it when not in use. Altogether very handy and nice to have all my wires more or less connected to one source. 5 |

Perfect size for location laptop - FYI - it supports bluetooth (no specialized receiver to keep track of - YAY! ). Works well for it's size, no issues on connectivity or use... Wacom FTW! (Suggestion: apply some Velcro tabs to hold the pen to the tablet when in/on a location. Always seems to wander off...) 5 |
