I had some trepidation about the cost of this UHD player. Prior experience with Panasonic products swayed my decision. I am more than satisfied. The unit is solidly constructed. Operation is exceptionally smooth and quiet. The simple act of placing a disk in the tray conveys the attention to detail that went into the design. Response time from disk insertion to being ready to play is quick enough given the metadata that must be read and processed. Having a separate HDMI channel for audio processing gives superb audio to accompany the equally superb video rendition on a 4K OLED television. 5 |
