Bluetooth Mouse Or Trackpad Setup Error

Love it! Being from the generation of manual typewriters mouse suits me better than trackpad.

In spite of its shortcomings, the Magic Mouse is still the best Bluetooth mouse for the Mac.

I have an iMac from late 2009 and by bluetooth was not totally compatible with the Magic Track Pad 2. Before ordering the trackpad I researched on the internet, spoke to people at Apple and B&H. What I got was varying opinions. What I concluded was that I should spend the extra money. When they arrived I paired by trackpad to my iMac without the adapter. It worked initially. But when the iMac went to sleep, the pairing was lost. I hooked up the adapter and since then the trackpad and iMac are happily paired. One last comment. Since I bought from B&H and live out of New York State, there was no sales tax. That combined with the lower price for the trackpad at B&H, I saved money versus driving to the closet Apple Store. I'm a trackball convert. I was having a lot of wrist pain using my trackpad or mouse. The trackball is very ergonomic for me -- very comfortable and very intuitive. I really like the scrolling ring.

The Intuos provides infinitely more control than a trackpad or mouse during retouching in Photoshop. The additional pressure sensitivity levels of this updated model are noticeable, and the updated, refined design and solid construction are pleasures.

We purchased this for our TV station to connect to one of our KVMs. It is -much- better than a simple pull-out rack for a miniature keyboard and mouse, which ends up being quite cramped. Plus we save the rack space of having to have a monitor in the rack. The keyboard is basically full-size and there's a trackpad... some of our engineers don't like using a trackpad, but we use the USB pass-through to let them plug in a mouse, so it's great! We did need to buy a special cable, USB Type A to USB Type A, to get the pass-through connected up though. Build quality is outstanding.

I love the loupedeck. I am terrible with keyboard shortcuts and don't have a mouse. Using the trackpad on my MacBook Pro was such a pain to use for everything. This makes editing images so much easier
