I use the Aluratek ABC02F Universal Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Transmitter connected to the Optical Audio output on my Sony TV. It pairs with a set of Sony Bluetooth earbuds to provide a separate channel for audio for my aging ears while the TV's audio continues to function independently for the rest of the family. The optical connection to the TV was simple and the ABC02F paired quickly and easily to the Sony Earbuds. The ABC02F is plugged into a USB port on the TV and is always on so the earbuds are reconnected within the time it takes to remove them from their charger/case and insert them into the ear.

I have (2) Fives. I like the ability to "line in" and then share that signal throughout the system. You can even "line in" a Bluetooth receiver or use a "y" cable to share between Bluetooth and the signal from a TV, for example.

My old receiver from the 70's died and this receiver has all features I need. Bluetooth is excellent and sound is ok considering this price point.

My first BLUETOOTH speaker and what a surprise! The range exceeds initial comments on B&H details of unit. I have my stereo receiver in downstairs at one end of house and speaker setup in upstairs. The receiver and speaker mates up easily and continues to be solid connection. Sound quality is excellent with pure great bass and treble. Highly recommend unit with reasonable cost and AVAILABILITY during this time of supply chain interruption!

I bought this receiver for the Bluetooth connectivity. I am now able to play my iTunes songs from the iTunes cloud through my iPhone and the new Receiver to our inside and / or outside speakers - all from my lounge chair. I am handicapped, so this is of great help to me.

My old Yamaha Receiver was struggling to support 4K TV. For example, high res Netflix sound stopped working and lacked 4K upscaling support. I had this new receiver up and running with 5.1 sound support in less than 30 minutes. I then reprogrammed my Harmony Hub Remote to control the receiver + AppleTV + Samsung 4K TV. Picture and sound are both excellent and I love the addition of Bluetooth IN and OUT support. Love SCENE control programming. Picture quality out of my 4K Apple TV is better than ever. Even better than direct-connect to TV. My Youtube TV and Youtube looks and sounds great. Highly recommended.

Wow! What a difference the sound from my TV is now with this receiver. My 20+ year-old Sony never put out this quality.

My husband and I each have a set, we are older and have a hard time hearing the TV. Weve paired with Bluetooth to each of our TVs using a Bluetooth transmitter on the TV.  Many of the shows have music in the background making it much more difficult to understand what they are saying. With these, it is easier to actually hear what is being said. The charger cord is extremely short, but is not a problem for us because I just lay them on top of the computer tower and plug in.  My husband has a USB port in the console of the sectional. He plugs in and closes the console lid.  The cord is literally only 4 inches long.  True story. Dont be using the headphones and be waiting to hear someone knock on the door!  You wont hear them!  The noise canceling feature works quite well. For ambient sound, just cover the right side of the earphones, and you can hear sounds around you better...and it temporarily mutes the sound in the headphones. Being harder of hearing, we have to uncover an ear so we can hear. They are very comfortable.  I do miss the old-timey sound control wheels.  To change the volume, tap the middle of the right earphone and swipe up or down.  It works, but a wheel is more convenient.  New and improved isnt always better. I have no popping or static with these, which is huge to us!  We just retired two NEW pair because of this very problem (they were also Sony). They werent returnable...should have been a red flag at time of purchase.  Lesson learned. All in all, we both love our headphones!
