I got this and two of their receivers to go with my Nikon setup in places where the optical method won't be reliable or even usable at all. Like putting a flash inside a ghost town outhouse or a rusty old car at night. I haven't tried them at a distance yet, but just setting them up and testing at home was pretty easy. The written instructions are perhaps difficult sounding, but by glancing through the instructions and just poking in the menus a little it was easy to make it work. Build quality seems pretty decent. Not the same feel as a Nikon product, but not cheap and junky either. I bet their smaller transmitter would be OK, too, but I'm happy with the larger screen and menu operation of this larger unit.

I purchased two different (and much cheaper) Bluetooth receivers prior to the B1. Both would cut out again and again even when my iPhone 8+ was only a foot or two away from the unit. The B1 has not failed me once and it works as far away as the upstairs floor above the unit. No drawbacks that I can see other than some audio quality loss at louder volumes. Highly recommend.

This paired easy with my Samsung S8 phone. It has much better sound quality than other bluetooth receivers i have used. It has great range too. My only conplaint is that the holes in the rack ears are too small for #10 screws so I had to drill them bigger to get it mounted in the rack.

I've had a number of Bluetooth receivers over the years. They have all suffered from limited range, frequent dropouts and pretty mediocre audio. The B1, has eliminated these problems. Range is superb for a Bluetooth device and the audio response is superior to anything else out there. An added bonus: most Bluetooth receivers lack the output to drive my SET and push-pull tube amps to there fullest. That is not an issue here, plenty of clean, noise-free output! Plus, this box is built to last, no cheap plastic enclosure here. A welcome addition to my audio lineup!

This has become my favorite keyboard because of the feel of the keyboard itself, the sculpted keys, smart backlight and effortless Bluetooth connectivity. Switching between up to three systems is effortless. Paired with the MX Master 3 mouse, I am saving desk space, I don't need USB ports to plug in receivers and lost or mismatched receivers are a thing of the past. No more batteries eventually leaking electrolytes into my devices since this keyboard can be recharged.

I was looking for a Bluetooth device to play music from my Ipod and Ipad to my older Denon receiver. After looking at the reviews, I picked this one even though it was pricey than others I have looked at. When it arrived, it was well packaged, came with a usb power supply , usb cable, gold plated audio cables and a cloth bag to store the unit. Even though it has a optical digital output, No optical cable was included. I had this for about 3 months now and I can say that I'm really impressed with it and wouldn't hesitate to buy any of their products. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a high quality Bluetooth receiver.

I received my SRS-NS7 from B&H about a week ago and was totally hooked on it within an hour of starting to use it. However I want to offer some strong advice to those who plan to use one of these while watching TV alongside other viewers. My wife and I normally sit about 12 ft from our TV monitor and typically sit close enough that we rub shoulders. We have a Sonos soundbar under the monitor, with surround sound speakers at each end of our loveseat. I wear hearing aids but Patty does not. The optical output of the TV goes to a splitter with one output going to the soundbar and the other going to the Bluetooth transmitter for the SRS-NS7. With the arrangement described above, we both heard sound from the soundbar and the NS7, and there was enough latency difference to irritate us both. I have a technical background and had anticipated such a latency effect, but had no knowledge of the actual delays with either device. I spoke with an audio expert at B&H, asking for advice about a variable delay device that has optical input(s) and output(s). He could not recommend such a device that is currently available from B&H but did suggest a Felston DD740 that B&H used to carry. I looked up the characteristics of the DD740 and agreed that it seemed to be exactly what I needed. I purchased one from LipFix.com, after talking with their Nick Johnson. It arrived yesterday. After connecting my new DD740 in series with the optical input to the Bluetooth transmitter of the SRS-NS7 and experimenting with the delay, I found that a delay of 55mS yields NO perceptible latency effects that interfere with either what Patty and I hear while watching TV. The bottom line: We both enjoy hearing REALLY EXCELLENT sound, including very clear dialogue, while watching TV together AND I get the benefit of superb sound while editing videos etc. with the SRS-NS7 connected to the Bluetooth of my computer systems. I could not be happier with this purchase! Pete

I've tried Bluetooth, ARC, optical cable and this. The streambar is by far the easiest, least glitchiest way to get my streaming services in to a decent speaker

I bought the Alluratek to connect Bluetooth head phones and an audio amplifier to a TV that has only one optical audio port.  The amplifier connection is through an external Bluetooth receiver.  I havent used the Alluratek for connecting two receivers simultaneously.
