I am using the speakers with a desktop and a laptop setup. The desktop is hard wired via the green colored sound jack. The laptop connects via Bluetooth. Both work just right and provide an easy way to share one set of speakers. (my computers share the monitors and peripherals via a KVM switch). The only hang up was that it took patience and repeated attempts to get the laptop to recognize the speakers in Bluetooth setup. However, now that its been recognized, I don't have to repeat the process. Sound is very good (not audiophile quality, but quite passable for computer speakers). 5 |

I bought these speakers as a desktop speakers for my laptop. The sound is amazing. You can connect several devices via USB, Bluetooth, Coaxial, Optical. You can also adjust the volumen, the treble and the bass. It comes with all the cables you need for connections. I am very happy with these purchase. Highly recommended. 5 |

I bought it to back up a 3TB iMac desktop with a 750 gb + photo library. It took a little under 2 hours to backup 800gb from my desktop. I also bought a Seagate and the time that took was more than double. The iMac desktop is being recalled for a faulty drive. I just hope the G-Raid re-installs the files as seamlessly. It worked beautifully with Time machine. It certainly isn't portable but it doesn't take up too much space. It is 9 1/2 long x 3 1/2 high x 5 1/4 wide. The seagate 4TB plus is 7 long x 1 1/2 high x 4 3/4 wide. Regarding noise... the G Raid is audible the Seagate is quiet. You can't even tell the Seagate is on which IMHO is a negative. AND... the Seagate has no power switch whereas the G Raid does have a power switch. If I needed to buy another external hard drive it will be w/o a doubt a G-Raid! VERY PLEASED! 5 |
