So I upgraded my Sony SRS XB 22 bluetooth speaker to the Marshall Stockwell 2 and my mind was blown away from the bass and sound quality it has..!, all the mids and lows I get to listen from it which I had never heard from Sony one before. Its bit pricey though but the quality and sound came from it just shut your mouth.

I bought Sony SRS-NS7 as a replacement for my Bose SoundWear, which has Bluetooth connectivity problems. I am a fan of neckband speakers and found they are great for meetings in work-from-home settings. Albeit much heavier and thicker, SRS-NS7 is equally comfortable to Bose SoundWear. I miss the fabric cover on Bose SoundWear as they could easily blend into my wears. The sound and stereo image of SRS-NS7 is surprisingly good for listening to music. Bass is weird at first, as its bass speaker fire down to the shoulder, sometimes feel a bit itchy. But overall, it is excellent. Battery is a bit on the low side. My Bose could stay on for about a week without turning off. But Sony probably could only do it for a day or two. Both speakers don't have good indications on whether they are on or off, so it is easy to forget to turn them off. Also, it cannot be used while USB-C cable is connected. Although SRS-NS7 can connect to 2 devices simultaneously, I often use it on more than 2 devices. I miss the button on Bose SoundWear which I can quickly switch between devices. The voice narration by SRS-NS7 is kind of slow/comprehensive. Not able to switch them to beeps. And it does not announce the name of the device either. It will only say 2 devices connected, without knowing which twos. I didn't try out the dongle yet as it can only connect to S/PDIF sources. Overall, because of better sound, I like Sony SRS-NS7 more than Bose SoundWear. I really love the sound of these speaker and the stereo image it created (without 3D audio enabled). It makes me want to play more music with them.

I received my SRS-NS7 from B&H about a week ago and was totally hooked on it within an hour of starting to use it. However I want to offer some strong advice to those who plan to use one of these while watching TV alongside other viewers. My wife and I normally sit about 12 ft from our TV monitor and typically sit close enough that we rub shoulders. We have a Sonos soundbar under the monitor, with surround sound speakers at each end of our loveseat. I wear hearing aids but Patty does not. The optical output of the TV goes to a splitter with one output going to the soundbar and the other going to the Bluetooth transmitter for the SRS-NS7. With the arrangement described above, we both heard sound from the soundbar and the NS7, and there was enough latency difference to irritate us both. I have a technical background and had anticipated such a latency effect, but had no knowledge of the actual delays with either device. I spoke with an audio expert at B&H, asking for advice about a variable delay device that has optical input(s) and output(s). He could not recommend such a device that is currently available from B&H but did suggest a Felston DD740 that B&H used to carry. I looked up the characteristics of the DD740 and agreed that it seemed to be exactly what I needed. I purchased one from LipFix.com, after talking with their Nick Johnson. It arrived yesterday. After connecting my new DD740 in series with the optical input to the Bluetooth transmitter of the SRS-NS7 and experimenting with the delay, I found that a delay of 55mS yields NO perceptible latency effects that interfere with either what Patty and I hear while watching TV. The bottom line: We both enjoy hearing REALLY EXCELLENT sound, including very clear dialogue, while watching TV together AND I get the benefit of superb sound while editing videos etc. with the SRS-NS7 connected to the Bluetooth of my computer systems. I could not be happier with this purchase! Pete

It is easy to load with music, easy to use in the gym, and even works on the Sony SRS-XB01 I bought with it. Good sound and the clip on the back gets it out of the way while I am working out. Good product. Still need to work on synching it with my phone for phone calls in the truck.

Running new Dell Inspiron Ubuntu laptop with Sony SRS-XG300 as external speaker. Connects flawlessly with my Linux laptop. Speaker sounds great for price range and my application (business and music videos). Very happy with purchase. Recommended.

Awesome! Beats Bose Soundlink Mini II, beats Sony SRS-XB3, beats UE Boom, beats JBL Flip 4. Sound is deep and crisp, it's like someone lifted a blanket off it, just sounds so clear. BUT Not as loud as some bluetooth speakers (~80dB) Very very clean and accurate reproduction of the source material. Sounds louder when used indoors. I love that you can contour the sound with bass and treble. ATTENTION MARSHALL: Please add the ability to pair two, I would buy another one in a heartbeat. WirelessDJ

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own several Bluetooth speakers and so far, the Sony XE300 X Series Portable Wireless speaker has been the best. It pairs seemingly easily. It is compact for the most part and can fit in more places than the typical round speakers can. The sound has been by far the best. I’m picky about my sound. Most smart speakers sound kind of blunted. This speaker helps me enjoy my music to its potential!
