Perfect choice for myself. Fully automatic w/Bluetooth and paired effortlessly with my JBL Charge 5 speakers. Turntable set up was easy and factory settings on cartridge were perfect. Also my B&H salesman was knowledgeable and friendly.

After a long search for a quality speaker, this is the best overall portable speaker. Although the style is a little less appealing but the sound is great for a 30W speaker. I can listen to any genre as the sound stage has punchy bass, decent mids, and clear highs that will not create a muddy tone (compared to the sound stage of the Marshall Bluetooth speakers). Compared to the charge 4, you get a separate tweeter, Bluetooth v5.1 (compared to v4.0), and now a part of JBL Partyboost to connect with other speakers. The IPX rating has decreased since the charge 4 from IPX7 to IPX67. To note, there is no charger in the box, just the cable and some booklets are included. In the end, this a great speaker for all occasions.

I always used JBL bluetooth speakers and headphones. Never neen dissapointed. Before I purchased Charge 5 I had Flip 4 and was very happy with its sound. Charge 5 has twice the sound power. Crisp tweeter and deep bass produce incredible quality sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an owner of many Bluetooth audio speakers, including multiple Bose speakers (three Soundlinks included), I was not disappointed in Bose's newest addition, the Soundlink Flex. The SoundLink Flex continues the legacy of great-sounding Bose portable Bluetooth speakers – big sound in a small package. I love my Soundlink Micro for biking and listening to music on the beach, but it was time for an upgrade, and the micro, while impressive, was never going to blow anyone away with its sound. The Flex is a perfect upgrade to the micro. It has much deeper bass and louder overall volume, which makes it better suited for outdoor activities. The highs are also clearer at both lower and higher volume levels. Yes, the Flex is a little larger and heavier, but the included strap makes it easy to attach and carry. The Flex is just as waterproof as the micro, so it is ideally suited for beach activities. I also take I t on my jet ski because it is loud enough to hear. Bose included a few new perks, including the ability to set up the flex as part of a stereo pair with other Soundlink speakers. This excellent feature allows me to connect my Revolve II or micro for some added sound and stereo for larger parties on my patio. The Bose Connect app quickly paired the Flex to my Android phone without any problems. While connected to your phone, the Flex can take calls, and the microphone is not bad if you are relatively close. It also allows you to connect to your phone's assistant to request music or other assistant features through the speaker. I did not notice any Bluetooth cutouts or interference issues. The flex is a fantastic addition to the Soundlink family. Disclaimer: I did receive a discount on this product for my unbiased review.

This is a nice record player that works well. It sounds good, looks good, and was easy to set up. I know the idea of a Bluetooth enabled record player would probably make a serious audiophile gag but for my purpose it made it so much easier - I have one set of high quality Bluetooth speakers and they're linked to multiple devices including this record player, my phone, and my wife's phone. This record player enables me to not have a birds nest of wires and cables which is really nice. As far as I can gell it sounds just as good as my previous record player which did use cables to connect to the speakers.

The wireless and bluetooth are unreliable, but it otherwise exceeds my expectations. What I wanted it to be able to do was run my Gen 2 Starlink, FireTV Cube, and cheap 38" flat screen TV for 3-4 hours and maybe also charge a phone. With the Starlink snowmelt turned off, it ran all three devices for almost 6-1/2 hours and topped off my Pixel4 phone from ~55% to full. With the Starlink snowmelt turned on (and snow falling making both the heater run and the starlink work harder to stay connected), it ran all three devices for just over 4 hours and topped off my phone from a similar state of charge. This River 2 Pro drops off my wifi and loses my phone's bluetooth after a couple of minutes of being connected to either. That means I have to turn the unit off and back on to use the app. The good news is that the only thing I might ever need the app for is turning off the X-Boost. It works long enough to do that. I like the performance of the 220w bifacial solar panel a lot, but the form factor leaves something to be desired. It's a true hassle to set up. Furthermore, it's very stiff in the cold and is almost impossible to deploy at temperatures in the teens and below. I'm going to have to build something to use as a mount if I ever have to rely on it for regular use. But again, the performance is impressive. In full sun and snow on the ground, I saw peaks for 206 watts. The excellent performance and the fact that it's a perfect match for the max input of the River 2 Pro might be a good enough reason to just accept the fact I'm going to have to build something as a mount to make it reliably deployable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was amazed at the sound quality produced by this small, portable, Bose Soundlink Flex Bluetooth Speaker. I have always wanted a Bose speaker because I've heard good things about their quality and sound, and this one did not disappoint! You download the Bose Connect app (which has in-depth information about the speaker and other Bose products) to your phone and connect to Bluetooth after first charging it with the included USB cord. Connecting to Bluetooth was very easy and the charge lasts for a long 12 hours. Once connected, it lets you know how much charge you have left before it needs recharged. It works like any other Bluetooth device and lets you receive and answer calls without problems and can connect to other Bose speakers for a surround sound effect. It is a very impressive durable, waterproof, and dustproof speaker that can be easily transported. But I was most impressed with the sound quality and the volume when used outside with family around a campfire. It can get really loud and the sound is still crystal clear. I felt like I was at an outdoor concert. My son was also able to easily sync his phone to the speaker. I highly recommend this speaker if you enjoy listening to music outdoors no matter whether you are at the beach, camping, or just barbecuing in your backyard. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for" and this one is worth the extra expense for the quality sound it produces. I love it!! I was able to purchase this speaker at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.
