This system is by far the best system for venues looking for an economical choice to offer hospitality to those with hearing loss. One of my parishioners, who has not really heard what has been going on in worship for years, said to me after his first time using this, You can't imagine the difference. I want to let potential buyers know that, for best results, you may need a separate amplifier to boost the level of audio going into the transmitter. It all depends on your setup. If you hook this up, and the sound is still not loud enough at full volume, insert an amplifier of some sort (am/fm stereo ) into the audio chain between your sound system and the transmitter input. I am using an old Realistic stereo. I am also using an audio compressor, between the amp and the transmitter, but that isn't necessary. I am using it primarily for its gate function, that eliminates some noise when no one is speaking. The compressor keeps the audio volume level. 5 |

When teamed with a BlueSENSE Bluetooth audio transmitter, I've got great sound anywhere in my house. Easy to set up and great sound with my Yamaha receiver and CD player! 5 |

I bought this about a month ago to replace a 34 year old (!) Sony Stereo receiver. The old one had AM-FM receiver capability. This one only has FM Receiver built-in, but it sounds a lot cleaner than the older model. This one has fewer output jacks than my older one, but is more than adequate for my setup (Sony Stereo Cassette Deck - going on 20 years now also !), and a bluetooth Audio-Technica Record Player. This model also contains the regular size headphone jack AND a standard audio output jack on the front for older style cassette players, walkman's, etc. Very unusual feature but useful for me as I still use some of that older gear from time to time. I primarily bought and use this product for its bluetooth capability which works excellently. I have my phone, and computer able to play music to it through bluetooth. I realize bluetooth specs don't carry the full frequency range for a lot of audio musical pieces (such as classical music), but for the everyday average pop music it's just fine. This is a great entry level unit for a person who is not an audio-phile. I also bought this because of Sony durability in its products. This thing is built like a brick. Good design accents, solid metal frame, heavy duty components. I will always buy Sony products - good balance between cost, design, and functionality. Couldn't be happier with this product. 5 |

This works well, long range but needs (more or less) to have direct line of site - did not work well when around the corner from the bluetooth transmitter device. Also, the XLR output on this device is line level out but the XLR input on most audio boards is mic level. Use a XLR (f) to 1/4 (m) adapter cable to go from this device into the line (1/4) input on your audio board. This will also free up some space on your board is this unit is somewhat bulky to plug in directly. Also, using an adapter cable can allow you to position this device better to be line of sight to the transmitter. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little Bluetooth adapter to connect to my audio system. Although my receiver has built-in Bluetooth, it is very finicky to connect to. This unit solved the problem. I like that it has an optical cable connector to make the connection to my receiver. 5 |

The Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter works right out of the box. It comes with a power supply , a mini-stereo to RCA cord. In my case I connected to the Aux-Input on an old Sony receiver. I paired it to my iPhone 4s and my macbook pro with no trouble. My daughter's macbook pro paired up right away but she tried to stream her iTunes and it would not go. However, her Spotify went fine. The range seemed acceptable. There were some artifacts (like digital hiccups) but I am not sure it was the device or the laptop. 5 |

I wanted something that was affordable without taking a hard cut in quality. I'm very happy with these. They do what a lav system is supposed to do. I used them in the field for three different projects, then found a happy surprise in editing. While sound mixing the interviews, I actually had to take a moment and try to figure out which mic was the lav, and which was the boom... Of course after listening closely, it's possible to figure out, but talk about a sound mixer's dream, when the overall tone and feel of the lav turns out so similar to the boom... (which in these cases was a Rode NTG-3.) Most of my takes were clean. I noticed some transmitter pops while shooting multiple subjects walking down the hallway interior of an old motel. Maybe something in the walls, who knows. Whatever - overall, very pleased. Especially for that price tag! Things to NOTE: You may also need to purchase a stereo 1/8" to DUAL XLR cable. The transmitter only outputs in stereo 1/8", using L and R as ch1 and ch2, however the kit only includes a 1/8" to single XLR cable (which if used, would consolidate both lavs to one channel). BAD! (Make sense?) 5 |
