Bluetooth Trackball Mice

I tried several mice and trackballs including logitech M570 and the Trackball Marble. This trackball by far is the best for CAD. The ball movement is so precise, fast and smooth. The stroll ring could be better, but it's not so essential to my work. Highly recommended. 5 |

I am so grateful to have found the Kensington Trackball. I bought it to replace two Logitech trackballs that I had previously owned (the M570 and the Ergo M575). I had to go online to find the Kensington because all of our local stores only carry Logitech. The Kensington is brilliant. Once you learn how to customize the trackball using Kensington's software, it's easy to find the most comfortable angle for your wrist. The Kensington is solid and heavy, which I like. It stays in place on your desktop. The USB dongle connects the mouse without disruption. And I like the scroll wheel. The Kensington itself is more intuitive to use than you would think, and (hopefully) it will last a long time. It comes with a manufacturer 3-year warranty, which is the longest manufacturer warranty that I have seen on trackball mice of any brand. This mouse is definitely worth the price. I take online classes and write computer programs, so this trackball mouse helps a lot with relieving wrist and forearm pain. It's worth the investment. It takes a few days to get used to it, but once you do, it's doubtful that you will go back to other mice, trackpads, and such. 5 |

I like Trackball mice; I don't have to slide my hand and the mouse all over. It's healthier for my wrist. Usually, I've had wireless Trackball mice but have become disillusioned with them. I get tired of changing and buying batteries for them. This mouse works great; it's response, easy to program, and having a cord is NOT a problem. 5 |

Kensington has been making excellent mice and trackballs for decades. The trackball is highly customizable and helps me zoom along effortlessly on my 24 iMac. It has four programmable clickers and a scroll wheel that sits at the base of the trackball. Scrolling is effortless and the degree of control offered by this track ball is awe inspiring. Mice run out of real estate and your always repositioning. Track balls don't move, they stay in one place where you can control all the action. Works especially great on dual monitors and large screens. 5 |

A word on trackballs vs mice : mice are easier , more prevalent and far more popular...much in the way that blasters are easier , more prevalent and far more popular than light sabers yes geeks I'm talking to you ! - but any geek knows that the light saber , whilst being far more difficult and esoteric to master - is by far the more effective , desirable and at day's end elegant weapon and the one that captures the imagination like no other. IMO - anyone that hasn't given the trackball it's fair chance and taken the extra time and effort required to master it is simply losing out on the overall computering experience. The trackball has a fluidity , a speed and grace , an accuracy that once mastered , make the mouse look like , well , a crude blaster. did I mention that's it's also incredibly FUN ? Are there people out there who are simply amazing with a mouse ? Sure. I'll take the trackball any day Younglings - don't take my word - try one for yourselves and let The Force be the judge. LOL 5 |

I like trackball mice because there's less stress on my arm and wrist moving the mouse around on the desk surface. This is my second Kensington Trackball mouse; I have the larger wireless version in my office. I use this smaller, more mobile Orbit when I am working elsewhere in the house or traveling. It's much more compact and travels well. There was no set-up or driver download involved with my MacBook Pro. Ready to go at once. 5 |

Needed a lightweight trackball with Bluetooth. This fit the bill and so far works flawlessly. 5 |

I have always used a trackball and have been waiting for a wireless version to come out. This works great either through Bluetooth or USB. 5 |

I've been using Bluetooth mice with my Macs since they became available several years ago, and the Apple Magic Mouse is easily the easiest to use and configure of all the various compatible brands out there. It's a bit more than the competition, but the reliability and ease of use justify the extra cost, IMHO. 5 |

I was disappointed to learn that logitech had discontinued the M570 trackball, but the M575 is even better. It has built-in bluetooth or dongle (usb) connectivity. 5 |
