This adapter is what makes the R5 viable for me. Without, I would have had to sell my collection of L-series EF lenses to buy RF lenses, and I just wasn't willing to do that. Save $100 by not getting the control ring, but I find it useful and convenient. Right now I have it set to control exposure compensation, and with the three dials on the R5, I have aperture, exposure time, ISO, and exposure compensation instantly available to my fingers without having to look away from the image in the viewfinder or screen or use a menu. Smooths out the process. 5 |

This is a very simple review. Without this right angle adapter plugging my HDMI cable into the back of my wall mounted flat panel tv would be difficult if not impossible. I connected the HDMI cable to it. I plugged it into the TV. It worked. End of discussion. 5 |

If you have the DUAL channel Sony wireless receiver, this is the hot shoe adapter you need, the version WITHOUT the D on the end the model name, will not work with it. 5 |

I bought this for my blackmagic pocket cinema camera. Without this adapter, that camera wouldn't have been my first choice due to the crop factor. Not only does the adapter reduce the crop factor, but it also helps my lenses out in low light shoots! Simply awesome! 5 |

Bought this for time lapses. Without an AC adapter, the batteries died, after 2 hours, so I ended up finding one. The USB cable in this kit is very short. Everything in the kit performs as expected, so I can't fault the kit. 5 |

The M42 allowed me to use lenses that I purchased over 45 years ago. Without this adapter these lenses were unable to be used as they would not come to focus with my D5100. Now I am able to take excellent pic's with these lenses using the adapter. It does what I needed. 5 |

You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient. 5 |
