Boat Dock Electrical And Water Stations

I have used the actual "dock in" docking stations for about a decade. Using best practices, I was always making sure my laptop was logged off so I didn't "hot dock" which was either a thing or it wasn't, depending on which IT professional I was speaking to. This thing is SO much simpler. It takes up about as much room as a CD case, and it was seriously plug & play right out of the box. I didn't have to download any drivers, and I had all the cords I needed. I do wonder why HP chooses to use the display port connectors, since they can be hard to find especially since many monitors have HDMI ports only. That would mean you have to buy an HDMI to DisplayPort cable, but I had them anyway so it's fine.

I just shot a water scene with two actors 4 feet from a boat in choppy water. The idea was to show that the two characters were hopelessly lost at sea and we were all worried about the splashing noises coming from the our 30 foot boat... lots of LOUD splunk sounds when waves hit the side of the boat. Well let me just tell you I showed the footage with the audio matched to a friend and he couldn't figure out how we got the sound so clear. He thought I was swimming with them holding a boom... NO IDEA there was a boat 4 feet away. That is how directional it is. And the audio clarity is perfect. Mix and record this sucker right and it will sound like any hollywood movie.

So I have had a Pelican 1200 case for 6 years and is has yet to let me down. Nothing but praise for this dust/water proof protector. Having purchased it while still in college, there were many, many kayak trips where it was stowed in the back of my boat while on the water on rivers in Idaho and California. Never once did my SLR camera get wet or get damaged. Now that I have upgraded SLR bodies, it was time to get a little bigger box, so I settled on the 1400. It is deep enough to hold my EOS 3 w/ a 70-200 f/4 attached. Unfortunatly, it won't fit in my boat, but I knew that if I wanted the lens to stay on the body, I had to get the 1400. If you are looking for a case that will protect your investment, either on dry land or in a wet environment, this is your huckleberry. The pluck and peel foam lets you customize your peli case, and the layout of what you will put in it. Overall a great product, I have never had a problem with the seal/durability. Get one.

I was on the boat and since the boat is not that big for my tripod I used this beanbag, it was perfect for my space and I jus put it on the front side of the boat and have the 1DX and Canon 800mm on top of it and went to shoot for Loons feeding their chicks. Very useful in a mobile transportation. Very easy to handle in a situation where the birds are just in the water and just swimming around like the mother and father loon. The photos I included in my review are all single exposure and taken with the use of this beanbag. I perfectly capture the loon fishing with the tremendous details. The other photo the loon was stretching wings, i captured the details in the lights and shadow so vividly including the water.

We bought two of these speakers to use when we're in the pool, our hot tub and to take out with us on our boat. I think it is so cool how you can use multiple speakers together at the same time and have "surround" sound. The sound quality is amazing as you always expect from Bose. Very easy to use. I love that it can handle dirt, sand and even if it was to get accidently dropped in the water, it will float and the water won't hurt it. I recommend these to anyone wanting a great quality speaker!

Bought this to get rid of reflections off water while on a boat trip. The filter works well enough, mounts easily and definitely doesn't hurt your wallet. The construction of the ring isn't the most solid and the optics aren't anything to look at, but this filter does it's job and it does it at a ridiculously low price.

I live on the water and have a boat. Love to view nature and I went into B&H ready to spend much more, but for the price these were a fantastic deal. They work, are water proof, 100% no fault warranty and adjust well.

Silicon lining holds strap securely, even when doing a back roll into the water from a boat. Comfortable

I have to say this has got to be the best suction cup holder i have ever used. I have several Hydrostream Boats we restored and use the camera on the boat to show how well they run and we hit speeds that most people don't want to be on the water and bumpy. 60 mph hitting waves and the suction cup holder never let go :) the boat is not flat it has some nice curves in it so even on a non flat surface it held tight. I tried the ones that have the sticky junk on them just to lose the camera, but it had a floaty on it so not a big deal. We have one of the boats a viper with a 250hp motor on a 15 ft race boat speeds hitting 100 mph and not real smooth water with a boat that is super light. I would not try to use it on a car going 100 mph the dirt and road grime would be hard on the camera and mount but in water they are great. As of today i have never lost a camera or had a suction cup holder let go 100% happy with the product

Used on boat/beach trip protects expensive camera body and lens from rain or splashes when near water. does not make camera water proof nor is it water proof but does cover camera a well to protect it
