Boat Headphones With Mic For Pc

These are some really good headphones. I use these primarily for PC gaming with voice chat. Audio in the headphones is very clear and has a good balance of bass & treble. Good mic as well; my buddy who I game with can hear me clearly. The cushions are also pretty comfortable. I’ve gamed several hours at a time while wearing glasses with minimal to no discomfort. The HyperX PC app is very intuitive. It helps control settings like mic monitoring (which I usually turn on) and equalizer and shows an accurate battery percentage. Battery life is crazy long. I been using these approx. a month off the initial charge, gaming around 20-30 hours a week and I still have about 60% charge. 5 |

Cable works great. It successfully caries both the headphone and mic signals from my wired headphones to my PC. My PC has the heaphone I/O in the back. So I've attached this cable under the front of my desktop and run it to the back of my PC for a discrete spot to plug in headphones. 5 |

My pc's original sound blaster soundcard had some issues like there was a major delay when speaking into a mic and wearing headphones which can make it very hard to speak. I stuck the Play 3 in my usb slot stuck the wires in it and it was working. I definitely recommend downloading the software for it that allows you to tweak the sound. My headphones have deep powerful bass for the first time thanks to this! (use quality mic & extension cables like RODE SC1/SC2/VC1) 5 |

I use these headphones for both music playback on my PC and as monitors for a podcast. In both cases I have it hooked up to a Yeti Mic. I like the sound quality out of these headphones. I also have had many headphones that were not comfortable but these seem to be better than ones I have tried before. I wore them over an hour and a half without discomfort. Audio Technica is known for making good headphones. A friend recommended these to me and I am happy with the purchase. Thanks B&H. 5 |

I use this as a desktop mic for narrating screencasts. It also works well with Windows 7 speech recognition for dictation and PC control. The Go Mic records clear, strong audio signal. It has some capability to serve as a playback speaker, which is a feature I don't use. When first plugged in, the driver set the Go Mic as my default playback speaker, which silenced my normal PC speakers. It was confusing at first, but easy to correct in Windows through the Sound control panel. 5 |

I'm using this product as a PC microphone. I've attached it to the top of my 27 Widescreen LCD Monitor using the MIC-EZE M-1 (albeit with substantial difficulty). The mic itself works perfectly with my PC after being paired with an ART Tube MP Preamplifier. This mic is surprisingly quite heavy. Probably because it is a dynamic microphone and not a condenser mic. I'm not a big fan of the stand clamp it ships with as it takes a significant effort to attach/detach the mic to it. It doesn't seem to be truly unidirectional to me. When Skyping with someone they can still hear me quite well even when I move laterally away from the mic while it is attached to the top of my monitor. This was actually a pleasant surprise for me, but other potential buyers may not like this characteristic. It should be noted that I can't definitively compare this mic to others of the same type, because it is the first XLR mic I've ever purchased. Attaching this mic to my LCD monitor using the MIC-EZE M-1 was not easy, but barely doable by wedging an extra metal square bracket into the M-1. Someone REALLY needs to manufacture a microphone mount which utilizes the VESA mounting mechanism now commonly found on the backs of LCD monitors! Overall, given the high quality of the mic and the amazing price, I'd say this is definitely the microphone you want to use with your PC. You will need a pre-amp and mounting mechanism to make it work for this purpose though. 5 |
