We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

Easy to use and durable USB flash drive

It's a lot of space in a surprisingly small package. This drive is also future-proof when I get a USB 3.0 computer. It's also nice that it's powered through USB instead of a separate AC cord, like my other 1TB drive. So far, no complaints!

Sure it's not bomb-proof, but hey, it's an umbrella! I proactively reinforced the struts of mine with coat-hanger wire as one reviewer recommended. (Run short lengths of hardened steel wire inside the channels for rigidity.) Glad I got the 45 model; it's not too clumsy for location shoots and is sufficiently large to illuminate a model. The dual options (thru-flash/reflect) provided by the removable backing makes this a versatile addition to my lighting kit... and the price is very fair.
