Boom Beach Flare Before Universal Remote

For an extra $, this basically becomes the perfect boom operator on your interview set. Before purchasing this Boom Pole Holder, I resorted to clamping my boom pole down to the c-stand but always worried if it will suddenly fall or slip. Works as expected. A must have on your set! 5 |

This cost a bit but it is worth every cent. Before we got it, we had done some recordings at the beach and the background sound of the ocean drowned out a lot of our voice, after getting this unit we did another recording at the beach and it was crystal clear. Really am impressed with this unit in everything we use it for. 5 |

The Audio Technica AT8415 Universal Shock Mount fits the smaller shanked mics very well as there are not too many shock mounts available at a reasonable price for these types of mounts. I needed to isolate a Boom Mounted EV vintage PL9 and have found the 8415 to work perfectly! The shank is 19mm on the PL9, fit is good, holds solidly and isolates well from the boom and the sounds a boom can make when moving into another position. The instructions state the mount will handle down to a 12mm shank.... might be a little loose with this small of a diameter but you can cross the bands for a tighter fit. Overall, very pleased with the product and as usual, B&H Photo provided excellent service with fast shipping. 5 |

When I first purchased the Rycote Universal Shotgun Mount for Cameras and Boom Poles and read the negative reviews, I immediately purchased this Rycote InVision INV-HG mkIII Microphone Suspension - Lyre Shockmount as my backup. Comparing these two side by side, they both seem well made. The actual mic holder on both are identical so I don't see any issues with that. Both mounts seem as if they will hold up well as long as you don't overtighten them. 5 |

The whole purpose of buying the Universal Blimp mount adapter is to shave some weight off my boom pole. I bought 2 pieces. One is to replace my Blimp mount. For the other piece, I did a hybrid modification to my Rode PG2 mount. I replaced the bulky PG2 mount with the bottom half of the Blimp mount adapter. The result is superb. A lighter and new PG2 mount. I simply love it. 5 |

Before I needed it to support a mic boom pole (my reason for the purchase), I discovered the cable release holder from my previous tripod didn't fit the smaller circumference of the new Manfrotto carbon fiber leg set. Bummer! The cord hanging around was not working for me as I shoot loads of HDR. Today, I hooked it to the accessory loop on the tripod, and it was a great fix. (see photos) . Not only is it a great location for the cable release, but it also held a lens cloth and spare battery as well. 5 |

Before the end of 2022, Joe Rogan switched his traditional boom arms for these gorgeous 'Limited-Edition' red ultra-low profile boom arms (he has four over his podcast table). There's no other boom are like this one on the market. In fact, many other podcasters and/or YouTubers are using it as well like for example, Valuetainment's founder Patrick Bet-David and many more (like myself). O.C. White is a legendary company making great quality products for the broadcasting industry since 1883. Imagine the experience they have by being in business for over a century. I used way too many boom arms over the years, from the Amazon cheapoes to the well built ones like Rode's PSA1+. But this one is the very best one I've used with nothing coming close to its built quality. It's on a different league. 350 bucks isn't cheap, but it is worth every penny for sure. 5 |

This does a great job of taking out most transmitted noise from my desk to my Sennheiser 416, which is mounted on it via a boom. Before, keyboard noise was awful; now it's barely audible. Thump the desk and it will still sound horrible, but in normal use this is a great shock mount for the 416 - especially compared to some of the more expensive alternatives. 5 |

Before I just had the normal boom poles and had to either wrap the cables around it or tape them down. This gets rid of all of that headache. Really glad I got this. It make it a lot easier. 5 |
