I owned the cheaper Boom arm stands that you can get from @. I was not very pleased with the lateral movement that the included table clamp provided. I bought the Heil risers and it completely transformed the feel of the boom arm. It fit perfectly and now Movement of the boom is smooth and requires no forethought. An excellent purchase and upgrade item. Also allows me and cohorts to have mic stands more out of the way.

So small but so powerful! And it's very cool that it's waterproof, it can be used as a shower speaker!

This boom arm is made of a nicer metal material rather than a plastic material that I have had in some of my other boom arms before this. It has really smooth movement when I am moving my mic around and it has no problem holding my mic in place.

I upgraded from a cheaper boom arm and the difference was noticed immediately. Movement is super smooth and it has so many more angle options. Do yourself the favor skip the cheaper boom arm and spend just a little more for this one!

This boom arm extends well beyond my expectations. Very flexible, with all the movement, hook up options, and accessories accommodations for what I'm using for a studio mic. I use the blackout edition Yeti, with the blackout edition shock mount, which is heavy. This boom holds in place, no matter where I place it. Its a fantastic boom, and I wouldn't want anything different. The price is well thought out, and its not expensive for what you get. Good going PSA1. SERIOUS PIECE OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE TOY LOVER IN ME. Seems indestructible.

This microphone stand with boom does what I need it to do. I use it to mount a digital recorder on the boom. It allows flexibility of movement in placement of the recorder. The price was great!

I used to hold my boom pole for fixed shoots. Holds it firm with no movement. Well made solid piece of gear.

I got a great deal, this speaker is shockproof, waterproof and lasts a life, it is perfect for bike riding thanks to its deep bass and it can attach to many things.  love it
