Boost Verizon Cell Phone Internet Signal At Home
Mike | 2024-04-24 09:27:51 |
You do not need to match your cell provider . Reason for the two is off you have signal from Verizon in your hunting spot and not At&T but the Verizon one . The camera send to the app on your phone no matter who your provider is . Was very easy to set up , I watch a YouTube video first . The pictures on your phone will not look the best quality, but when you down load the SD card they are very clear and good . It will take and save pictures even if you lose cell service. BH photos had the best price and I had my camera in 3 days ! Buying a second one before season starts . Don’t hesitate to try one . No fees and you can go month by month if you want . Mike 5 |

Had our home number of 29 years ported to Ooma. Our VOIP phone service from AT&T was $50/month and limited to 200 minutes. Ooma warned us to separate your phone and Internet service with a dry-loop connection if you have DSL Internet service. However, upon doing more research, I learned that if you have a newer version of DSL (called VDSL2 of ADSL2+), this is not necessary. We took a chance and didn't bother calling AT&T to go through the confusing process of setting up dry-loop DSL. Our number ported over just fine in about a week and Ooma kept us updated with an exact date. The Ooma hardware is very solid and works as it should, so far. We got the Ooma Telos and 3 HD3 handsets, and the audio quality of the handsets is very good. Our new monthly cost is local taxes only, which is just below $7. Highly recommended. 5 |

We had just changed to AT&T U-verse for Internet and land-line phone via their fibre-optic connection. Within a week of the switch we suffered a (grid) power failure. Result: no phone or Internet! Not wanting that to happen again we bought this UPS system. It was very easy to connect and when tested (unplugged from the grid) it provided 4 hours of phone access (w/o computer being on) or more than an hour of combined phone and computer access. We feel more secure with this addition to our household! 5 |

Met all expectations. Also using it to improve cell phone signal. 5 |

We took a fly-in fishing trip to a remote location in Canada. No internet, no cell signal, no radio communication. A friend experienced a serious medical issue. We were able to use the inReach Mini 2, to reach out to the outfitter, and coordinate a plane to fly him from our remote location to a hospital. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Boost Charge Dual USB-A Car Charger 24W because there are times I need to charge more than one device while in my vehicle. I have a personal cell phone and a work issued cell phone, so making sure they are both charged is very important. This charged them quickly and worked very well. 5 |

Almost a must have if you venture anywhere cell phone signal doesn't exist. My family appreciates that I can still check in while in the back country. Screen is easily readable, good battery life for such a small device. Decent cell phone apps to assist in communication. 5 |

I mainly got this because I roam remote areas alone, sometimes without a cell signal. I like its tracking ability, although I have a tracking app also on my phone. My friends can view my whereabouts on either MapShare or the tracking app, which I like. I use my phone as a topo mapping device, with downloaded maps so phone signal doesn't matter. I carry the little Mini-2 everywhere. I am still on a learning curve using the Explore app, but getting better. 5 |

I feel safe when I go sailing and I don't have a cell phone signal, and having this device for any emergency feels good. 5 |
