Boost Wifi Signal Downstairs

I am really amazed by this WiFi... in my 2 stories house, my Asus RT AC68U was suffering so bad that the Internet signal was NULL downstairs... as soon as I connected the AmpliFi router only, I got signal everywhere including downstairs... Didn't know that the cube itself was so powerful... I connected the antennas just because they were included, but it let me think if I do really need the entire system or just the cube and 1 Mesh Point... Now the 5ghz connection was not so good between the router and the mesh point even that it was placed in the middle of the house upstairs and in an open area (living room) downstairs. BUT, the 2.4ghz provided 100% signal between them... I know that with just a little more connect and try around the house, I will find the perfect spot to place the cube and the Mesh Points. BTW: my house is 1800 sq-ft of full concrete floor and walls with 6 inches of width... it is a bunker.... really happy with the purcharse.

My house is 3,000 square feet and two story. The cable modem is upstairs where both computers and one tv are located. I had a 5 year old netgear wifi router upstairs and a small extender downstairs for the two tvs down there. Often the signal strength was weak and the tvs downstairs would buffer. I’d have to reboot everything fairly regularly. After buying the Orbi mesh system, no more buffering. No more rebooting! I get full wifi signal throughout the house that extends to the sidewalk in front of the house and half way through the backyard before any loss of signal at all. To say I’m pleased with the coverage and speed of the Orbi system is an understatement. It really works well all over the house and in the yard too!

This device now allows me to have wifi 6 speeds though out my house upstairs and downstairs

I bought 2 for the downstairs and it works great. I later purchased 1 for the upstairs. WiFi coverage is fantastic.

A cable this long will usually need a little regeneration boost but this cable is so well isolated, we skated by without having to boost the signal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had trouble getting Wi-Fi signal downstairs since my modem was located upstairs in my office . Orbi not only took care of the signal gap but it got me closer to the speeds I was paying with Xfinity . 989 download with 27 upload !!!!

Setting up this printer was fairly easy and did not take very much time. The install process for the software on my computer took a little while, but it wasn't confusing. The only problem I ran into was connecting it to my internet network. I connected it directly on the printer, and although it connected, it said the signal was weak. When I tried to search for the printer through my computer, it said it couldn't be found. I had to bring my laptop downstairs and connect my computer with a USB cord and setup the network that way, and then the signal was strong and my computer identified it just fine. Not really sure why that happened, but glad it worked out in the end. Secondly, I'm so glad I can finally print something without having to bring my laptop downstairs each time. The printer is super quick, and I have not received any errors when trying to print anything. It properly shows up as the first option in my printing options. This router does what it says. Gives WiFi signal from cellular service.
