Boot Iso Image Meaning

I usually expose this film at ISO 1600 for a fast yet relatively small grain image. I just like the look it gives vs pushed iso 400 films. 5 |

I typically print images in one session, meaning I do all of the printing that I have to do in a continuous manner. The interleaving paper is a godsend in that I remove the image from the printer, and just before the next image comes out (a few minutes because I print using the highest density possible), I place a sheet of interleaving over the image and stack the newest image on top. I've never had one bit of trouble with the product and can't print without placing the product between images. 5 |

I've had macro lenses before, but this has always been my goal.. and to get the RF mount to boot, can not complain. Solid build. Smooth. Top-notch image quality. I tried the RF 80mm F/2 as it had a 1:2 macro capability, and while image quality was ok, the focus speed was an issue for me. Not with this guy. It's expensive, but I expect to own this for many years to come!! 5 |

I love cameras that are light and fit my hand well. The X-T30ii does that with good image quality to boot. 5 |

Attached is the first image out of the box with this lens. This is a great lens for shooting anything in low light and you know with ultra wide lenses you have to work the location a little to find the best angle/s as the parallax comes with the territory... For this image, I would have liked to have been able to shoot further back from the church which would have reduced the parallax a bit, but in the end what I was very happy with was being able to shoot 30 sec at f/1.8 at ISO 3200 and get great stars and great details in the foreground. My first test image was at ISO 6400 and the sky was blown out from being too bright...that was a first! Great depth of field as the church was approx 15 feet in front of me and the details are crisp all the way to infinity.Camera: Canon 5D MkIV.Location: Virginia Dale Community Church, Virginia Dale, CO. Date/Time: Oct 14, 2017 at 9:39pm 5 |

I realize the 50D is on its way out, but I adore this camera, so I felt compelled to write a review of it before it sails into the sunset. I just finished a 10 month driving trip across the entire continent of Africa (as well as Europe and a bit of Asia), and the 50D was my best friend the entire way. I had the chance to try the camera out in a wide variety of photographic situations, and here's a quick summary of my experience: * Wildlife: The camera is just fantastic for wildlife. Lightning fast fps, spot-on auto focus, and the inherent magnification factor of the APS-C sensor meant that wildlife shooting was a dream. * Landscapes: With good lenses, the image quality of landscapes is great, though of course not as good as with a full-sized sensor. But color and resolution are both excellent. * Travel / People: The LCD panel at the top of the camera instantly provides most of the information you need, and the camera has plenty of quick-access dedicated buttons. These features enable you to quickly change settings as conditions change. I have to admit that I didn't fully appreciate these features before my trip, but I can't count the number of times that I was able to get the shot because of them. * Low-light: This is the only area where I think the 50D could be better. Compared to my previous DSLR it's a revelation, but image quality at ISO 1600 and up is a bit grainy. It this is an important consideration for you, I'd recommend a full-frame camera. But image quality at ISO 800 and below is just fantastic. It's also worth mentioning that the camera is very solidly built and withstood the rigors of a very difficult trip. Overall, the 50D is a great product and perhaps still worth considering in its twilight days, so long as you don't need video and don't need stellar high-ISO quality. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. 5 |

Been shooting Nikon equipment since the early 70's. Good Nikon equipment is great, but heavy. Lately I've been looking for a lighter camera without sacrificing flexability or Image quality. The Olympus Mirrorless camera came close to satisfying that objective, and the Leica / Panasonic F2.8 lens puts the combination over the top. It's macro capability will handle most field requirements. Greater macro capability results in greater weight. The 5:1 zoom provides very good image quality (hand held) across a very handy image range. Very low (to no) noise when shooting at ISO 1600. Quality at higher ISO values will depend on the image objectives. 5 |

After shooting the D700 for over 10 years I finally decided it was time to upgrade, but for one reason really. Shooting for the newspaper requires many low light scenarios where the D700 just couldn’t quite get there—horizontal banding with specular lights at ISO 4000 and higher, and that was a problem at times. I was able to use my D700 at ISO 12,000 and 25,000 at times, especially when the image was only going to be printed at 5x7 and low res online. But there were plenty of times where a front page, high quality image was needed, and I was shooting in the dark. So I finally grabbed the D850. The resolution was also a plus, allows for plenty of cropping when I’m not able to bring a telephoto to a scenario. No much to complain about; I would get rid of the tilty screen and video function and it’d then be a perfect camera. The D700 feels heaver and much better built. The D850 does not feel this way. Not that it feels cheap, but when compared to the D700 it feels lesser quality, but I’m sure it's quite tough still. One thing I hate is the AF area mode being move to the front of the camera where I now have to old the button and rotate through all the options to get from single to tracking or auto. That’s something I use a lot and it was much easier on the D700, just a single switch on the back, literally one click. That’s one thing that really bothers me because Nikon needed to make room for the video/camera switch, which means Nikon is sacrificing “camera” function in order to add video options, which I have no use for. Minor annoyance but I’ll learn my way around it, just wish it was a photographer oriented camera only, would make for a more fluent tool. 5 |
