Bootable Usb Flash Drive To Install Windows 10
JerichO | 2024-06-29 03:36:31 |
Small! Fast! Easy to grip and pull out! It makes a great bootable USB drive for Windows 10 installations. I bought 3. The other 2 are now Windows Recovery Sticks. 5 |

I moved o.s. and bootable disk to this drive and now windows starts up in five seconds instead of the 30-40 seconds it was taking with the HDD. 5 |

Easy to install as a second drive I would like to have formating instructions for windows 10 come with the drive instead of looking it up 5 |

I've used this device for over a year. I used it pretty hard when I first got it. It was a drive for a Windows 10 IoT install on a Raspberry Pi 4 for almost 2 months. The drive still writes data at around 230 MB/s and reads at almost 380 MB/s consistently. On USB 2, it starts at around 300 MB/s but slows down to 6.7 MB/s and stays there for the rest of the transfer. This is a solid USB drive. Best one I've used so far. 5 |

I use windows 8.1 quite often. On this mac, all drives (except the internal flash drive) are external. Windows runs great off Thunderbolt connected drives. You can have multiple window drives and select the one you want on boot by holding down the option key. 5 |

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly. 5 |

22TB SanDisk Pro G-Drive drive review I'm using this drive in a large photo and film Archive. I purchase a sample drive to test out before committing to more drives. The reformat to Windows is a pain. Luckily, I found a YT video that walked me through it. After reformatting the drive to Windows, the 22TB shrunk to 20TB. That is disappointing. It is not that noisy, just a few clicks once in a while. It is decently fast and really kinda quiet. I am using a USB3.0 port with Oyen adapter cable to go from USB C to USB A. SanDisk only gives you a USB C cable. Time will tell how they hold up, but if they do hold up, I plan to buy a few more. 5 |
