Borderless Printing On Brother Inkjet

Bought this printer for business use. Tired of having to mess around to get an inkjet to work for printing letters, mailings, etc... Have had other Brother printers and of those 3, only 1 gave me any issue. This makes my 4th Brother and it is in the catagory of no issues and works great !! Love the envelope printing, the paper drawer could be a little bigger to hold a whole ream, but otherwise it works and does so with little effort from the user.

This is the second pro-200 I've purchased because it is an excellent printer that is well priced. Use it for professional printing applications because the quality is excellent. I find print times to be slightly higher than estimated but is still quite quick for the borderless printing quality - approximately 2 min (+-10 sec) for 8.5 x 11 borderless. Haven't had any issues with it. The Canon software for it is pretty good. Could be better, but great as a free addition. Ink lasts a while. The cartridges will last between 80-100 pages (8.5 x 11 borderless). Great choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a teacher who designs classroom decor products, I was looking for a printer that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg for ink. I go through a LOT. Setting up the HP Smart Tank 5101 All-in-One Printer was a snap. Simply pour the ink into the reservoir (it has a non leak bottle that only dispenses once it is clicked into the right spot), snap in the printer heads, plug in, and go. I was super impressed with the quality of the prints. It even allows for borderless printing. The biggest surprise was how quiet it was while printing. I also currently have an Officejet 7740 (which I LOVE for printing large format posters), but it is very loud. The HP Smart Tank 5101 All-in-One Printer was so quiet while printing. There were only a couple drawbacks: -It does not print in larger paper sizes borderless. At least that I could figure out anyway. It will print legal sized, but not borderless which makes a difference for me when I am printing specialty items. -The black ink bottle contains more than the reservoir can hold (extra is always good), but I was concerned about pulling it out of the upside position and getting ink everywhere. -It does not hold a whole ream of paper in the input tray. I will have to refill the paper tray often when printing in bulk. Obviously those small details aren't a deal-breaker. Overall, this all-in-one printer will be super useful for printing so many classroom decor items. I will be interested to see how long the ink goes before needing replaced and I will update my testimonial at that time. So far, I'm very happy with it.

You can print beautifully on these photo cards, including borderless. Great paper. I am printing with an Epson ET-8550.

Brother inkjet printer uses a lot of ink which is more expensive than the printer! But it prints very nicely.

5 stars! Stable and very easy to adjust level with slider on.

This is the best price I've been able to find for OEM Brother inkjet cartridges. I can be confident in the product and it's performance because it's OEM and I'm not putting refilled/remanned cartridges in my printer that may leak and cause damage and I don't have to mess with getting the right chip to make other manufacturer's cartridges work in my printer. In addition, this is a high-yield cartridge that will last longer & this vendor has fast delivery.

After suffering with an inkjet printer for a few years, I'm really glad I bought this Brother printer. So far, it's always been available (no problem finding it on the network), the toner doesn't "expire", and the printer doesn't get clogged. There was a small color registration problem at first, but a quick calibration process fixed that, and everything just works now.

I have bought brother since I started using at home, they also used them at work. I use inkjet now so I can print color photos from my phone.

I bought this printer to replace an older color inkjet printer in my home office. I decided to go with Brother based on their reputation, printer features that I required, and price. So far this printer has performed very well and I would recommend it.
