Extremely happy with my camera mount. It is very sturdy and well made for my Bosch security camera.

Truly balanced headphone cable that should have been included with the 800 series cans instead of the segmented mini phono plug.

This charger works perfectly with 800 series Canon camcorder spare batteries (charged outside the camcorder). It is also very compact since the spare battery plugs into the charger, then the charger plugs into a wall outlet with its built-in swiveling prongs.

This charger is specifically designed for 800 series Canon camcorder batteries. It is compact, making it perfect for travel. Also, it charges faster than the included on the camera charger with it's cumbersome cords. I consider this charger a must have for on-the-go videoing.

Finally, Sennheiser has come out with an 8000 series figure-8 microphone. They should have released this mic 10 years ago. The figure-8 pattern is fundamental to MS and Blumlein stereo techniques. It’s an extremely useful pattern in general, even though most audio engineers don’t use the pattern often enough. As for this particular microphone, it’s fantastic. Sounds great (just like the other MKH 8000 series mics) with a low end much better than most figure-8 mics. Low noise. Small, light, lots of output. Nice non-reflective finish. This RF mic is not affected by high humidity. I use it in a DMS configuration with a Sennheiser MKH 800 Twin. The 8030 replaces a MKH 800 P48 set to the figure-8 pattern which was previously used in that rig. The 8030 works fine in that application, sounding just as good as the 800 P48. Compared to the 800 P48, the 8030 is slightly noisier and has about 3 dB less output; neither difference is a problem. I own a Neumann KM 120; the MKH 8030 is better. I don’t know how Sennheiser could improve this microphone. It’s an expensive microphone, so I guess they could make it less expensive, right?

I have owned the Nikon su-800 for several years and, although it had worked well, I really missed the ⅓ stops for manual exposure. Also, with my sb800 flashes, there is no manual setting from ½ to full power. This remote allows for ⅓ adjustments all the way up to full power. Just what I was hoping for.

Bought this to use in the studio with a Hensel studio monolight and a Nikon SB-800 in MANUAL mode, works as advertised. Haven't tried it outside but at least they work amazing in the studio.

Replaced Optex 40 X pri with Bosch Blue Line detectors. Bosch is quite a bit more sensitive and gives better coverage. These are great atributes for a good alarm system. Did not use the tamper portion of the detector. I have a 4 wire lead to the detector. Red to plus, black to neg. and the two other leads to the n/c terminals. Polarity is of no concern as you connect the n/c wires.

Using this for a Bosch laser level and it works great. Magnets are strong and the legs are solid enough to withstand the weight of the device and then some. Have to press firmly to get it to budge.
