It balances very well over the shoulder. For me as an active 82 year old timer, photo hobby, with some lower spinal back issues, this is a most wonderful combination. I can just set my self up near the shore, enjoy the water fowl doing their thing etc, and shoot away all day long. The GC-4101 offers the highest degree of insurance and protection for your gear. Exceptionally good speakers. Imaging is excellent, efficiency is very high, bass response is very impressive. The ability to angle the speakers is very useful. Handles high volume without distortion. Separation of bass, midrange, and highs is precise and crystal clear. Close your eyes and you would swear the musicians are set up and playing on your deck.
